Finding the Hotel was the initial problem, surrounded by a warehouse and at the back of a supermarket… not the best first impression! To top it off we arrive after a long drive from Paris, we find the gate closed and aren’t able to open it until another guest comes and we figure it out together… At this point we are exhausted! We are greeted by what appears to be a friendly receptionist but turns out, this is just another obstacle. He makes us pay extra for the room because there is one extra child in one of the two rooms we booked. We try to lighten the mood after he asks if we want to pay for breakfast and we politely decline and tell him we’ll just head to the near by McDonalds… What a mistake that was! He starts telling us that “It doesn’t open early in the mornings” and “you don’t have to go all the way there” when it’s a 5 minute drive and which one of us would wake up that early anyways. It turns out this wasn’t the end of it when we got in to the room, there was an enormous spider out side the window and a baby spider on the floor and another three on the ceiling… the most unsanitary thing I’ve seen. It seems the management just don’t care about either their hotel or guests. The televisions are the size of laptops and the top bunk bed has kit on top that requires you to make the bed your damn self! THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY AND DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING! Overalls I’d have this hotel shut down if I could… Spend your well earned money ELSEWHERE!

The Ibis budget Metz hotel is great for what is serves; simple rooms for a budget price. Small rooms and very warm but the bed was great. The breakfast was a little disappointing for me personally, as I would have loved soms eggs or scrambled eggs with bacon perhaps!

We arrived the booking had not been taken at the proper date. Fortunately, I had the confirmation by mail of the date, because otherwise we would have been forced to look for another hotel! Luckily a room became available. Unfortunately it was a smoking room, we are non-smoking and my husband, who has asthma… Got in the room, it had not been done! Tobacco, in turn, by earth, ash, the window open wide, unmade bed… I informed the receptionist who has had to make himself the room… The room itself is summary. I've seen ibis budget, clean and welcoming. The pillows are too soft and we do not have a 2nd available, the bed squeaks with every movement… The walls are the tasks of I-don't-know-what, and the edges of the shower have the tasks of mold… The shower is plugged, and I'm stuck inside, the door being blocked while I was taking my shower! I had to call my husband to make two for the reopen. We went to bed late and woke up at 7am (on a Sunday! ) by the noises in the next room and in the hallway. The walls are really thin, because personally I don't have the light sleep that I wake up… It's simple you would have thought they were in our room. Of course, the alarm clock we had laaaaa throat painful and the nose is taken, the fact of the smell of cigarette that is present in the whole piece… It remains for us to breakfast, but a priori it should go because for once it is not connected to the chamber!

Perfect budget hotel at an excellent location direct on the A31 motorway! Highly recommended.

A very good ibis budget hotel, meets all requirements. Has also very tiny but very quiet rooms below the roof. Clean, modern and lots of parking space, nice caring staff!

Easy access to Highway exit. Friendly welcome. Nice rest room conditionned, clean and perfect bedding. Large secured parking.

Located just at the arrival of Metz from Nancy, cad jouy aux arches, ratio quality price correct.

Hygiene dubious, hotel noisy but well located and price competitive.

Good for a night, if your passing through.

Hotel located in a shopping center. Access is not easy. Service according to what you can expect from this type of hotel. The corridors seemed quite noisy compared to a b&b for example. Correct price 46 euros per room for 1 to 3 people (1 double bed and 1 bunk bed for 1 person).

This was the third short stay we have been doing in this hotel since 2012. There is nothing to complain about: exemplary staff at reception and maintenance, impeccable cleanliness, simple but sufficient breakfast. We had to shorten our stay, my wife having gotten sick, and we appreciated that we were offered the reimbursement of the remaining night, even if this was finally not possible because of the mode of reservation that I had chosen. One remark: the presence of a bottle brush in the bathroom to clean the toilet bowl would be appreciated. Anyway, we'll be back.

Effective hotel, proximity to restorations.

Good hotel for a nice price. Great beds. Air conditioned rooms. The breakfast is not much but you can also go to the boulangerie a little further on the commercial centre.

God place for overnight stay. Comfortable bed, besides the freeway, and with good prices. They have a 24 hs self service machine which is handy is you come in late. Rooms as small but funcional. What out it doesn't have elevators. Still, very good value for money/time access to continue my trip.

It's a budget, it's clean location is the usual for budgets but the breakfast could have more choice. Had better @ other budget locations across France. Would I use as an overnight stop again. Probably.

Easy-to-find small-budget hotel. Was clean, had shower, free Wi-Fi and breakfast. Most important is that there are minimarkets, supermarkets and restaurants in walking distance. So if this place is a stopover when traveling you can do any needed grocery shopping nearby to continue your journey the next day. They also have a very friendly customer service that can speak English.

Well you get what you pay for it think. Room is not too much bigger then cabin on a ferry and similar style but have all you may need for a overnight stop. Some restaurants selection close-by and parking is available. Good access to motorway. Vending machines available downstairs. Shower is a bit smelly from the drain I think but seen worst. Bed clean and comfy. Nice roof window on the 3rd floor room I got but some noise from the motorway is obvious. Price €54 with breakfast is better then OK (too bad the exchange rate due to bloody Brexit is poor). I would choose the place for stop over again.

It is what it is, and you get what you pay for. Formula hotel in budget style. Room was small but clean. Breakfast simple but OK. Disposable plates and cutlery a bit annoying, but then again, you get what you pay for. Conveniently close to the motorway when zooming your way to the south.
