Very nice hotel very attentive.

In mid-August we had a short stay in the gardens of the mess… hotel to recommend, everything is great: welcome, restaurant, bedding… short to recommend without reservation …

The bed was wonderfully soft, the rooms are a great size. The service is excellent, with one lady going to great lengths to help translate what my school french is lacking after 20 years away. The french continental breakfast (breads with jam and coffee/juice) was a little light for us, but the service was great.

Wonderful time to be in love with the servers very attentive… thank you.

Last week my wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at this 4 star hotel. Manager Marc Zuccolin made personal contact with us, and worked with his staff to ensure that we had a pleasant stay. This included arranging for a taxi to and from the Meuse TGV train station. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant. Since the hotel is centrally located, there is easy access to other restaurants, as well as the Verdun Tourism Office, and other amenities. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting the Verdun area.

We were there for an overnight stay; it was a very nice modern hotel with historic significance in a beautiful setting. It was easy to walk into the town, and the view from the room was wonderful. It was a great (if brief) stay!

A gorgeous hotel with a splendid view of Verdun. Staff is extremely kind and attentive. On top of that the rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and large beds.

This former Military Officers mess turned high-end Hotel restaurant and bar is incredibly well done and has a great view of the river going through Verdun. The remnants of canal and fortification buildings in the garden behind it as well as further into town along the outskirts and around the town itself make it a very interesting place to explore.

Very disappointed to see you serve the white wine and rosé wine in a plastic glass stamped "case of rolling rock" at the music festival. 2018 … and we are regarded as strange animals when we dare to do the note. In addition it was forbidden to sit on the outdoor terrace. Not cool at all.

Calm. Welcoming. It's a nice sight. Friendly and helpful staff. You can't hear the air conditioning, very appreciable! Relaxing jacuzzi area and super nice sauna. The exquisite and hearty meal. Breakfast offers plenty of choice. Very good stay. To do it again.

This property is the former officers ' mess. The building is beautiful and perfectly held. It is easy to access and has all the standards of great comfort. The prices are correct for this level of services and the restaurant Bistronomique is of quality. The garden is also beautiful. An exceptional place for your weddings…

Nice hotel, good services, despite an alarm clock at 3:00 in the morning by a false fire alarm, without apologies neither the next day nor the date of departure… Medium for a 4 *… Nice and comfortable room. We recommend.

Stunnig view over historical Verdun. Excellent rooms, delicious breakfast and very attending staff.

Our room was very nice, and included a well-equipped mini-bar. Parking is free and easily accessed. It is located right on the Meuse River, with lots of food options within easy walking distance. This hotel is near the Battle of Verdun memorials.
One caveat: we were unable to access Wi-Fi during our 24-hour stay. Kept getting an error 503 bad gateway message. Front desk staff were unable to fix it and had to wait for IT person to come the following day. It was fixed by the time we checked out.

It was very good. We had a corner room on the second floor. The views were nice. The exterior of the hotel was the nicest by far in the town of Verdun. The rain head for the shower was severely water damaged and water was flowing from the ceiling 2 minutes after turning off the shower. Overall it was a very good experience.

Very nice place offering, luxury, calm and voluptuous without being staid. Staff welcoming as it should and listening to the least of your desires that it knows how to fulfill. Spacious rooms, highly sleeful junior suites offering comfort and silence guaranteeing quality sleep. Privatization of the spa is possible and offers a real relaxation.
You are welcomed at the bar where the drinks are varied, varied and served with a consummate art.
(For smokers, they can benefit from a comfortable and pleasant smoking room that is totally dedicated to them, allowing you to worship the "Goddess Nicotine" in peace and without annoying anyone, which is extremely rare).
The restaurant offers a diverse, original and "bistronomic" menu of very good quality. Breakfast is varied and full ranging from continental to English.
Finally, and this is not unimportant, the value for money is perfectly consistent.
