Camping Les Breuils Campground

Good site to explore the battlefields and cemeteries of Verdun. Sanitaries clean but capacity rather low. There are wild orchids and a little lake on the camp site.

One of my favourite campsites that we use as the 'start' and 'end' of journeys by motorbike across Europe. Fantasitcally varied pitches. Welcoming and helpful campsite staff. Great restaurant and bar. The swimming pool looks great and the lake is a tranquil area. Toilets showers etc. Are well kept and clean but typically good standard France-style. Will always go back again and again.

It is a very nice well-appointed ideal place with spacious pitches and comfortable bungalows.

Very nice Campsite with beautiful Pool and friendly Staff. The Centre is within walking distance. Toilet Facilities/Showers outdated — didn't bother us though. Like to Come back.

French guy on reception has a little english so with my school french we got by a treat. Didnt book but there was plenty of space although a busy site. Great location to cycle into Verdun which is a lovely town. You can cycle to the big war memorial but only for the fit or very fit. 8 miles up hill! Toilets are perfectly adequate and clean. Bar and small restuarant on site too. It was a small lake but dont think its stocked with fish. I like this site very much.

Quiet and well-placed campsite, only 15 minutes walk from the centre of Verdun. Very comfortable Mobil home. Friendly and helpful staff. We recommend this campsite.

It's a great place to camp just toilet and toilet not cleaned and there are no heated baths and there are no clods.

We only had 3 days here whilst on a Ww1 history trip around the Verdun area. It suited our needs well and the chalet was clean and tidy.

Stopped over for just one night on route to Germany. Very peaceful and helpful staff who spoke English. Did not use the showers or swimming pool. WC's were clean but take own loo roll. Would stay again for longer next time. We paid 19 euros including electric for the one night. Not sure of the electric amps but I think we tripped it when we plugged in and had to use a different power socket. Very few Brits there.

Camping deplorable, already arriving we do not know where is the home, incompetent and lost owner, service and nice kitchen but welcome staff licking boot on the edges, sanitary degueulasse, trash that stinks near the camps. I put a star because you can not put 0, the only positive point is the pool.

I loved this place. Very green and cosy lots with hedges around. Friendly and relaxed staff. Toilet facilities were ok, but could use and update, they were clean though. No extra charge for hot water and there were sinks for washing clothes outside.

The campingspots are very nice and green. There is a small restaurant where you can eat a simple but delicious meal. You can order bread and there is a small store for groceries. The Wi-Fi did not work for us. The pool looked very nice, but we didn't get a chance to try it. The toilets do not have seats, which is uncomfortable. However, the showers were nice and warm. Overall a nice place to stay, especially because of how close it is to Verdun.

Quiet site but very big. Dogs allowed, plenty of walking, verdun excellent town 20 mins walk. Sanitary facilities typically French but could really do with update. Clean but basic. Tiles outside block cracked and worn. Restaurant serves basic but reasonable food at sensible prices. Very friendly staff.

Back from a stay of a small week with family, very nice campsite, recent lodging and very clean, a team listening. Nice setting. To redo.

This is a truly excellent campsite. Clean, good facilities, sheltered parking, swimming pool, lake, bar, restaurant, shop and very competitively priced. One of (if not the) best campsite I've ever stayed in.

Camping very clean and very pleasant. Very welcoming. But the quiet pool is disturbed by some young people in the city next door who does nothing. Too bad, I would have put 5 stars otherwise.

It is with great pleasure that we stayed 3 days at this campsite. Clean toilets, quiet and respect, staff very kind and welcoming, but also good consultant for our visits to the sites to visit. Very good evening meal. (excellent chocolate mousse! ) convenience store, delivery of bread and pastries every morning. Again thank you and see you soon.

Output motorcycle 2-3 April 2016. We slept in mobile homes very recent, spacious and well heated. Full meal and breakfast in room of the home for 25 people very good value for money. Nice home, everyone has enjoyed. Goldwing Club Central Region.

Very quiet (especially in March). Good home. Clean. Attention can't go home after 22: 00. Delivery of bread and pastries every morning.

Not bad. Needs a little tlc. Scool party in 2nd week in sept every year.

Stayed here august 2012 first impression good, large pitches sanitary cold OK, pool. Problems were our first night as our tent was slashed while we slept and the bags in our sleeping area taken from our car keys and hit our car. Was done with great skill, as no one heard anything. This happened one night to seven tents. We all new owners complained, and he shrugged his shoulders and said, "in this case it is the local Gypsy camp next to the site regularly, " that you won't notice when you arrive. We went to the police and no help there either. Break in, we also tried with vans and motorhomes and bikes stolen. Beware before.

After Verdun, we were several times as a couple and family. Campsite of Les Breuils was always clean, welcoming, and offers a good value for money. Restaurant offers good food at a reasonable price and the staff are very attentive and like that is reasonably priced. We absolutely recommend and will use again in any case.
