LA RESERVE ALBI Hôtel Restaurant

Stayed one night on our way from the Dordogne to Montpellier. Great location on the Tarn river. Not as boutique luxurious as we expected, and didn't have a lot of joie de vivre as there were few fellow guests. Comfortable large room overlooking the river.
The restaurant wasn't open on the Tuesday that we were there. The receptionist suggested that we dine at the Grand Cafe le Pontie near the famous cathedral — a good recommendation. The cathedral is amazing!

What a delightful place. It truly is a peaceful reserve nestled outside the bustle of the town. Beautifully situated on the banks of the Tarn River, the owners and staff are universally friendly, helpful and kind. We got lost on our way there. Not only did they call to make sure my husband and I were okay, they asked the chef to stay to cook us a late dinner. The room was very clean. The patio, pool and dining areas are just lovely. We had a room overlooking the river and it was a quiet and soul calming moment to sit on the balcony and watch the river go by. My husband and I both want to come back and thank you for such kind treatment. We appreciate what you do here!

We loved the hotel at Albi and felt very welcome there. It has excellent facilities and jn the most beautiful location overlooking the river and very clean.
The restaurant was of excellent quality and the staff were friendly, professional and able to cater for all of our food allergies and requirements. I am both gluten and dairy free. Also, they were able to cater for our 11 year old child and made her the most delicious, suitable food that wasn’t even on the dinner menu.
A special thanks as well to the staff at reception who went out of their way to help us with an issue to make our lives that much easier as we were leaving the next morning and had needed some supplies that night.
Totally recommend and would definitely love to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff are very kind and helpful, giving us many good recommendations. The grounds are peaceful and perfect for a morning stroll. Julian the Sommelier gave us perfect wine recommendations and vineyards to visit. Beatrice at the front desk was very kind and gave us a great restaurant recommendation. We would love to come back for another stay.

Brilliant and would like to return if at all possible.
The grounds are large and well kept in perfect order.

Amazing hotel right in the river. Great view, relaxed atmosphere and amazing service from the second we arrived. Parking and travel cot was included for free. Would 100% come back.

I have never stayed at a hotel that had a more beautiful, peaceful setting than this one, with lawns sloping down to the river Tarn and large trees cradling the vista. Our room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a sliding door and balcony overlooking the lawns and river. I got a kick out of the artsy twisted-metal light fixture in the corner. (Two very minor quibbles: the door to the toilet didn't shut completely, and the sliding door to the balcony had no curtain, only a metal shutter. ) The dining room and other public spaces were also simple, lovely, and focused on the gorgeous grounds. Didn't want to leave!

The hotel is set slightly off the road and by the time we pulled up outside the front door two staff members were there to greet us and take our luggage.
Check in was friendly and efficient after which we were shown to our room, our bags having been taken up directly from the car. All the staff we met during our stay were very pleasant and eager to assist.
The room was nicely finished. It was spacious and airy and was well equipped with comfortable chairs, coffee machine, complimentary water. We had a river view and loved just sitting on the balcony watching the river flow gently by.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of Albi in generous and beautiful grounds which run down to the river. It was a truly tranquil and relaxing location, topped off with a generous sized swimming pool which was a joy to use. After a long journey we thoroughly enjoyed the peace of the hotel and it’s grounds and left feeling fully refreshed.
We stayed for 2 nights and ate at the hotel both nights. The food was very good, the service quietly efficient. The menu was short but we didn’t struggle choosing what to eat either night. Had we stayed a third night we would probably have eaten out in town. Breakfast was a self service buffet although I believe we could have ordered hot food, cooked fresh.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t think twice about staying again if we were in the Albi area.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay while touring the area. The hotel is beautiful and it really felt like home. The personnel were truly wonderful. Breakfast was small but nothing was missing and the dinner at their restaurant is truly delicious! What truly captivates you is the location. Just next to the river set amongst a beautiful garden. The best place to relax and unwind!

Excellent staff, beautiful location, calm, relaxing in an enchanting parc. An extraordinary place for people who wish to enjoy more than a hotel. The hostess is extremely helpful and charming. The breakfast is excellent. The swimmingpool overlooking the parc and the river is a place you don't want leave. Albis historic center is only 5 mins sway.
