Ibis Albi

Good location, nice hotel, and it was really useful to have parting in the hotel. I would stay there again.

My second stay at Ibis in Albi. Location of the hotel is very good — in the centre, near restaurants, cafes and local transport. Rooms are clean, breakfast is adequate and staff are friendly.

The booking process was quite smooth.
The hotel itself is very well located with walking distance to the city centre.
The room is clean, bright and quiet.
The bed was a bit too soft but alright.

Chose this hotel because it accepts dogs, looked convenient for what we hoped to do, and had secure parking.
The welcome was outstanding. Dogs were not merely accepted but thoroughly welcomed. The location was excellent and we walked everywhere. The room was well designed as was the bathroom.

Very friendly staff. Room was spacious. Parking paid but available. Well located in city center. Good breakfast.

I could not book two rooms online (? ), and I had to make a phone call. I was attended on the phone with great professinality and the rooms were booked. The stay at the hote was pleasant and ok in all senses.

The hotel is well located, being only 10-15 minutes from the train station and about the same to the old town and the cathedral. I liked that they’d made a rather plain building look prettier by planting window boxes of red geraniums.
We were allotted a spacious room on the 3rd floor, (301) larger than the normal Ibis room and facing the front. Fairly quiet but we could hear a little bit of road noise and some noisy kids! There must be a school across the road.
Enjoyed a complimentary welcome drink after we prompted the receptionist.
Close to restaurants. We didn’t try the breakfast as there was a good bakery a couple of doors down.

Im a fan of Ibis budget but by far this was the one I found the most faults with. There were not enough towels, the bunk bed was not made and the shower leaked but no rug was placed. When I went to ask for towels, none of the girls working in the morning spoke English, Spanish or Catalan so it was extremely difficult to communicate with them. Although the hotel was one of the most beautiful Ibis budget we’ve been in I’m not sure we would recommend it.

Location was perfect, close to the old town centre. Easy to use underground car park at only €6 a day. Check in was efficient. Room was a good size for Ibis. Bathroom was smart and clean and as per other Ibis properties I’ve stayed in. AC was very loud on the highest setting and could be cooler.
First time we have slept in their “suite bed” by Ibis, but was very underwhelmed. Felt like they’d tried to reinvent the bed and it didn’t work. It’s basically a mattress topper on top of a normal mattress. We found it less comfortable and the sheet came out more easily and the topper flicks up. Either way, it wasn’t bad it just seemed unnecessary.

We stayed at the adjoining Ibis Budget hotel in 2015 with a friend during another heatwave & unfortunately the air-conditioning wasn't working. This time we "upgraded" ourselves to Ibis. We had a very comfortable stay with fully functioning airconditioning in our room and agood choice of breakfast ingredients to set us up for a day of sightseeing. Two minor irriations, entering the car park is difficult because of a car parked opposite the entrance and having booked for 2 nights we had to have our doorkey re-programmed when returned from our outing on Monday.
