Our two stay in this hotel proved to most enjoyable and comfortable. The food was excellent with dinner prepared for us by our hosts Jean-Pierre and Elisabeth. Our room was comfortable and clean with the added advantage of a near silent air conditioning system. The location of the hotel perched upon the hillside, provided glorious views and made dinner and breakfast times rather special. Our only regret was that we had only booked a two night stay. Next time we will stay longer.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this small hotel. The rooms are large, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable, decorated in a traditional style but with modern amenities. Our "privilege" room had lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Dinner and breakfast are included in the price of the room and were a delight. M. Ric is a very talented chef. Our diners were delicious and varied, featuring local ingredients and specialties. When we stayed at this hotel many years ago, the restaurant was very popular and open to the wider public. Now, M. Ric cooks only for hotel guests, offering a 3-course set menu every evening, after consultation with guests in the morning about their preferences. We had great fun talking to him about plans for our dinners. Dinner and breakfast are served either in the dining room or the terrace, both of which overlook the beautiful rural countryside and the hotel's extensive gardens. M. And Mme Ric are fantastic hosts, and gave us great information and advice about the area, leading us to visit a museum and view we would otherwise have missed. Villa Ric is the type of small, family-run hotel-restaurant that is rapidly disappearing, (much to our loss and regret. ). We highly recommend it!
