The fresh fruit at breakfast looked tired. Nice coffee but no meats/ cheeses. Quite poor for 12.50 Euros.
Room super clean, but noises from other rooms very evident. Tiny decking area outside onto a field by the pool. This was a superior room. Only tea in the room, no coffees. A lovely little fridge which was useful during our 3 day stay.
The staff all a bit disengaged although polite enough. There were no towels in our bathroom — but we called reception and they brought them at once. We would stay again — but it was not that great in some ways. A definite positive was the wonderful air conditioning — shut was not noisy at all.
The best thing about this hotel if you're arriving by car is its location at the top of the cliff. Parking is generally a problem in Rocamadour but if you stay here you can park for free and explore the area on foot.
Breakfast was very good. The pool was also very refreshing.
As far as I could tell all the staff spoke English, although a few of them struggled to do so. One of my pet peeves in France is that hotel staff are generally all trying to learn or improve their English. They insist on speaking English to me even when I speak French to them. This did not happen here and I appreciated that. The Rocamadour area is very popular with the French themselves. A lot of the guests at this hotel were French.

Nice place, very nice hotel staff, good breakfast. Comfortable bed with extra cusions. The staff leaves in the evening. A bottle of water in the room would be great, in addition to coffee and black tea which are available. Good place.
