We have just spent 10 days at La Lezardiere in a magnificent and relaxing setting with relaxation in the garden and terraces for meals. The room is very nicely decorated with a bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The kitchen right next to the cottage is well equipped, just missing a spinner for the salad (it's practical 😉) and a small frizer in the fridge to place ice cream in (it's so hot 😉)
We didn't meet Caroline, which is a shame, but James is very friendly and available! Just a shame that we don’t speak English for our exchanges with him 😉

➜ Beautiful homestay room.
It is not a guest room, no breakfast served, no common relaxation room, no dining room the kitchen is too small to dine there.
Each room has a small terrace in front of its door for dining.
A covered terrace upstairs provides protection from the rain.
But there is no closed room to protect yourself from the cold.
The kitchen shared by the 2 bedrooms is accessible from the outside. The kitchen is very well equipped. A washing machine with everything you need is available.
The Quercy room is nicely decorated. The bed, pillows and duvet are great. The linen (sheets and towels) really good.
But although this room is large, it does not provide a small space to put a table to eat in in case of chilly weather, nor an armchair or small sofa to relax on. The only possibility for this is outside, but in mid-May it was still too cool and it rained at times.
Ideal room for sunny days.
The location of the accommodation is perfect for visiting the region, everything is within an hour's drive max to explore all of the Périgords.
James is a very friendly host and always available. He responds very quickly to all requests to provide the best possible response.
His little welcome aperitif is very nice.

Fantastic place to be for several days and even to come back again. Spacious, cozy room, good bed, modern bathroom facilities. Private terrace overlooking a large tree-lined garden. Sun all day, yet cool room. Fully equipped beautiful kitchen that you can use. Many nice places to visit (by car) in the area. And, last but not least, James and Caroline. Very hospitable and friendly. We felt very welcome.
