We stayed here the night before our tour of the Pech Merle cave, which is only a few minutes away. The hotel is right on the river, and we enjoyed having drinks on the terrance before dinner, although it was too chilly to eat dinner outside.
The rooms are simply but tastefully decorated, and everything was in good condition. The "river view" was reallya view of the restaurant roof with a little glimpse of river, but it did include the beautiful greenery on the other rieverbank, so that was nice.
The restaurant had choices for everyone, including vegetarians: the veggie burger was quite nice!
We didn't eat the hotel's breakfast, but instead went to the boulangerie down the road for some coffee and delicious pastries.
Our small room (Double-Supérieure) in the annex (very near the main hotel & restaurant) was comfortable and clean, with ensuite shower, and had its own terrace overlooking the river though little storage space.
Good pool.
The staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. The waitress was particularly pleasant. We rated all the food very good, especially the lamb and the walnut tart.
We were only there one night, to see the cave next day — a rather steep 1km walk but worth it. The host let us leave the car in the private parking while we went to the cave.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff were very friendly and dinner in their restaurant was great. Highly recommend for the proximity to Pech-Merle cave and charming local villages.
