Buffet style lunch and evening meals, lovely smoking area outside bar next to river, lovely terrace by the pool on the 7th floor with fabulous views of Lourdes. Stayed there with the Limerick Diocesan Pilgrimage for the last 4 years, can't wait to return next year, bigger and better/stronger.

I think since the former Manager Director left Hotel La Solitude hasn't been the same. We dont like the Self service we noticed old people couldn't manage trays which was very bad for business. The manageress didn't seem concerned about this. This is terrible we always went there but looks like we will be going somewhere else. Especially when people are Caring for someone and are responsible for them this doesn't help. The reception staff are very helpful always have been. We do hope this will improve it is a nice Hotel we have many friends there.

Had a lovely stay at Hotel La Solitude on our first visit to Lourdes. Everything was within walking distance. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Balcony off the bar is on the river & has a fabulous view of the fort especially lit up at night. Hope to visit again!

Good food at the restaurant and reasonable prices…

Nice friendly hotel, English speaking with nice comfortable rooms. Nice and Quite and peace with all the favourites. Give them a 5 star will come again.

Great service from the staff: a special thank you to Florent. Rooms of the standard type a bit small, but great hotel location. I would recommend more accessories (soaps, foam bath) for the bathroom and especially in the toilet is not provided where to hang a small towel.

We just returned from Lourdes this week. Can't recommend Hotel La Solitude highly enough. The room was spotless, clean Towels every day. The room & bathroom were spotless. The staff were so helpful, & cheery when we met them on the corridor. The atmosphere of the whole place was great. I can't recommend, The Hotel Solitude highly enough. Keep up the good work.

Very attentive staff. Stayed on full board and food was varied and good quality. Bar staff friendly and helpful special mention for Tari and Darcie they made a lovely stay a real pleasure.

We stayed there for 5 days we were on a pilgrimage. This is lovely hotel. Staff so kind. Food was good. Rooms serviced daily. Clean towels everyday. I highly recommend.

Fabulous hotel just back from a stay in solitude hotel with cloyne group. Could not fault this hotel very accomodating! Had my 2 boys with me & the waitress (darcy) who looked after us at meal times couldnt do enough for us very friendly girl will miss her! food very good too & very friendly manager! look forward to next stay there!

Wonderful hotel with an amazing view. The heated pool is a plus that is not negligible in a stay, this one also overlooking Lourdes. Clean room, perfect bathroom and breakfast. All this for a more than reasonable price.

Beautiful view on the river. Comfortable rooms and the restaurant serves excellent food. Really convenient location in close proximity to the shrine. The only problem we had seems to be a common issue in European hotels at this time of year. The main HVAC is switched off so there are no environmental controls in your room. We had to sleep with the balcony door open, not too much of an issue on the sixth floor except the people in the town of Lourdes seem to like to socialize rather loudly late into the night.

I have to say that we had a great time always clean eating yummy good service.

The director is the asset of this hotel. The hotel has a great view, walking distance to the Grotto, with friendly staff, affordable and a great place to be home away from home.

When I went to this hotel. They gave us a dream room on the third floor two separate beds for the kids with a large bathroom. With a staircase for parents with two beds glued with small bathroom. In this hotel there is a small indoor pool but it was not bad with a terrace that showed the city. The I felt I have me. I would recommend it as a hotel. After budget level it's complicated but good I recommend it.

Hotel Super located not far from the cave with a staff very attentive to guests and excellent food with continental buffet or nothing misses frankly very pleasant stay and hotel meeting our expectations.

SUPER Hotel The hotel is located at the gates of the sanctuary and on the banks of the Gave, it offers views of the esplanade of the processions, the Chateau fort and the Pyrenees.
The hotel has an indoor pool and a bar with terrace.
The staff is very professional.
The Suite that my companion and I had reserved was very spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped: a double bed Queen size, a reversible air conditioning hot/cold, free Wi-Fi access, a flat screen TV 66 cm via satellite and 35 radio channels, a safe, an automatic alarm clock, a refrigerator and a mini bar with views of the sanctuaries.
As for the bathroom: shower and bathtub and toilets separated.
The bedding was flawless.
The hotel decagé a pleasant smell.
Breakfast was served on a rich buffet.
This hotel has a very good quality of service.

Welcome Courtoit of the hostesses, smiles and greetings of the staff of maintenance:. The location of the Hotel is very good. Paid Parking available. Design furniture has the reception. Room with good equipment (refrigerator, flat screen…) but defraichie with carpet, boissures scales, door bumpers torn off, bidet in the bathroom and a toilet paper unwinder type large surface. Efforts on the household are to be made. The freshness of food at the breakfast pt is questionable. The menus of the restaurants of the chain are varied but the also QQ efforts are to provide (steak type MC Do served cold, cooked salad…). For a 4 * little better do.

Very pleasant hotel. Good food. Pleasant helpful staff. Would benefit from more places to hang clothes in bedrooms, such as hooks on walls.

Wi-Fi poor on 6th floor. Noisy at 2am overlooking river. Otherwise good. Breakfast good staff excellent.

Very nice Hotel to reach the sacred places, very friendly staff, the rooms a little demodè old baths, the breakfast little provided and not tasteful.

Adequate place to stay. Many tour groups there. Unfortunately, pool was closed during our stay — something we wanted for our 9 year old.

It's a beautiful hotel. The staff go the extra mile to make sure everyone is happy. It's close to the Grotto.

I only have the best to say about La Solitude. The hotel is clean. The location is walking distance to the sanctuary. You can even see the procession from the balcony. The view from my room was gorgeous. If you go the the bar and restaurant the view of the castle and the river is just magnificent. But there is one major component of La Solitude that makes it a 4star hotel or even better, the Director, Francois Campagnet and his staff. They are super attentive and thoughtful to make your stay comfortable. Salute to Francois.

Just home yesterday from another amazing trip to Lourdes. I go every year 6th — 11th June with the Upper Creggan Group and even after 13 years it never cease's to amaze me how brilliant the Hotel La Solitude is. François and all the staff look after you so well and do everything they can make your stay a great one. I would never stay anywhere else in Lourdes. I would highly reccomend the Hotel La Solitude to anyone who is travelling to Lourdes.

Staying at the La Solitude right now with my mother on pilgrimage. Arrived on Thursday and to say that I'm disappointed is an understatement… From the time we arrived till now I'm utterly shocked that they can rate themselves a 4 star hotel Rooms Old and shabby with Yellow pillows. It took 3 room changes as my mother has mobility difficulties using baths… Food We have had to eat out every night. Due to food in which they have been serving as inedible, even though our food is included in our package, I have photographed the food to show the tour agent when I return to London. Would definitely not stay here again or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel in Lourdes! Helpful staff, bustling and busy! Within 5m of the Grotto so its easy to leave and stroll through the pilgrims in the area. Will definately stay here again as its so central and very international.

Just back to Ireland after a Fabulous trip to Lourdes with the Irish pilgrimage trust, our group stay at the Solitude and we couldn't fault the hotel, Francois the manager very attentive to the needs of the group. Claudine and the waiting staff in the dining room and special word of thanks to Salvatore who made a special effort to please each of the young people at every meal. They couldn't do enough for us! So Thank you!

Well located hotel, nothing to say about the rooms and good home. Nice pool with a panoramic view of the Pyrenees.

A staff, hotel 4 stars worthy of its stars, very clean rooms, a bit noisy at night, I recommend without restrictions.

We enjoyed our stay here very much especially with the friendly staff, good food, great scenic view from our room & blazing fast Wi-Fi! Our only gripe is that the doors of the lifts close very fast & do not respond to the open door button.

Mix green & frites still best for veggietarian eater.

I love this hotel, lovely food and selection of drinks. It's a very modern and clean venue, spacious and classy. Gorgeous views from the pool area looking over the river. The staff and owners are very friendly an look forward to visiting here again.
