Wow what a weekend. I was lucky enough to experience the opening of Puregarderes in the south of France.
Starting our mornings watching the gorgeous sunrise with a cuppa followed by some yoga in the sun with the fabulous and talented Francine. Francine was really supportive, genuine and knowledgeable she encouraged us all no matter what level we were at. It was so peaceful with the amazing view and sounds of nature creating the perfect backdrop and chilled vibe. The yoga, breathing and meditation techniques we learnt from Francine was a highlight of my stay. During the day there was still plenty of opportunity to relax at the pool enjoying drinks, healthy snacks and great company. Other activities included a sip and paint session and a nature walk around the local area.
We walked on the property foraging for fresh fruit and herbs which we then used during our stay in different ways to eat and drink.
Evenings were all about the food, wine and admiring the clear and bright night sky. The food was absolutely amazing and we enjoyed many gorgeous meals taking advantage of what is grown locally. The wine tasting was also fab allowing us to explore the local vineyards without having to leave our comfortable retreat and with an opportunity to purchase and send home or receive at the retreat the following day.
I’ve come home very chilled out and zen it was exactly what I needed.

I had the most wonderful 4-night stay at Gardères — truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was just magical. From the beautiful setting to the thoughtful details throughout the house, everything was perfect. Fun was definitely had — it was the ideal balance of comfort, charm, and great company. I can’t wait to come back again!
