Les Trois Lys

Just a quick drink in the courtyard but very nice indeed, good service & lovely atmosphere.

An amazing place to stay! If, like us, you are not interested in the Mercures and Novotels of this world but like somewhere with character and style, this place ticks every single box. The building and decor are amazing, the rooms well equipped and the pool is one major plus factor.
The hotel is right in the middle of this charming town. There is secure parking (7 euros supplement) and we could not have chosen better.

Only 3 star rated logis as got a pool. The room was expensive but not very clean. Cobwebs. No pillowcases on spare pillows. Hardly any soap in hand soap. Entrance from car park was very run down.

Property is beautiful. Room was tiny but functional. I took away some stars because the table in the room was very dirty as though the housekeeping service hadn’t touched it in quite a while. The shower grout and curtain had quite a bit of mold in it and could use an update. It was a charming old room and with a little TLC would be excellent. In the evening I couldn’t find anyone at reception when I needed something, thus the negative stars on the service. William was very charming and helpful when I saw him. I believe he’s the new owner and this is a very promising property.

Found the secure car park much easier than I had feared. The welcome we received was warm and helpful, and all in very good English. I loved the whole hotel! Its old, and the rooms are full of charm. I enjoyed the wear on the staircase which all added to the charm. The breakfast was great. I had one of the lightest omelette I have ever had, cooked to order, and all served with a smile.

Brilliant location, lovely architecture, well proportioned room, good towels, nice breakfast but sense the team here have run out of steam. Room carpet not clean at edges and curtain hanging on some rings. Swimming pool still had yesterday’s coffee cups by the side etc. All easy to fix but felt it needs a bit more enthusiasm, love and attention. Staff pleasant.

This is a great boutique hotel. Humble but elegant. The owner went out of his way to have vegan breakfast options for me and there is a delightful vegan restaurant down the street. Ideally located just steps away from the giant cathedral and in the old town with all the cute bars and restaurants nearby. The owner recommended a pizza place for dinner that was great as well but make a reservation. Would definitely stay again — the windows and light are magic.

I loved my stay here. Centrally located this is a very cute hotel in the middle of the old town down the street from the cathedral. It was my last stop on the Le Puy (GR65) and I was charmed by the courtyard and soaring windows… those beautiful windows. I am vegan, and I appreciated how the owner went out of his way to have vegan items for breakfast. Plus, be sure to enjoy an Aperol spritz on the sunny patio before dinner. There is an amazing vegan restaurant down the street — plus a great pizza/Italian restaurant nearby — but make a reservation — it gets busy.

We stayed three nights while in the area for a family wedding.
The host was very welcoming.
The room was large, clean and quiet. The bathroom has both a large bath and a shower. The bed was comfortable.
We had lunch when we arrived in the courtyard at the front.
My wife and daughter enjoyed the pool.
The off street secure parking was a bonus.
As my wife said "I would recommend this hotel to anyone".

The property is stunningly beautiful, and the welcome is so friendly, as if you had arrived to stay with friends! Les Trois Lys immediately felt like home. We stayed two nights, the location is perfect to explore the pretty town. Le Balcon restaurant, a few metres up the narrow quaint street, has superb food and well priced for such authentic French cuisine. We are so pleased we stayed at Les Trois Lys, I have to say it is perfect!

Tasty curry. Beer wine. Good friendly service. Good value for money. Definitely go back.

An absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff are so friendly and obliging. We took our granddaughter who is vegan and the chef created special dishes just for her. A fantastic establishment.

Loved our two nights stay. Excellent room (6) overlooking the pool. The host and owner, Willem is very welcoming and hands on.
We dined in and the dinner was delicious.
The pool was fabulous, as it was hot: 30C.
Our bed was very comfortable and no bells to hear at night, as we have often experienced.
Breakfast is typical French and tasty.
Wifi is good.
Car parking on site if required.
Centrally located in a beautiful old building.
Highly recommend.
