Mas Escombelle

Parking at the hotel is quite convenient. Guests note that parking spaces are available on the street right in front of the property.

The staff are described as very warm, friendly, attentive, and professional hosts who provide valuable recommendations for exploring the region. However, there are occasional remarks regarding communication: one guest was unable to reach the staff by phone or email upon arriving at 4:00 PM, as the property was closed between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Otherwise, the team is noted for being helpful and promptly resolving any unforeseen issues.

Guests highly praise the breakfast, describing it as generous, varied, high quality, and delicious. Breakfast is often served on the poolside terrace or under the wisteria. In addition, the property offers delicious and hearty dinners served in meal baskets, as well as appetizer platters with local cheeses and charcuterie. Meals are typically arranged in advance.

At Mas Escombelle, guests can stay in classic rooms or in unique, spacious yurts (Red, Orange, and Bamboo). The yurts are described as very comfortable and clean, featuring good mattresses and private, functional bathrooms. The rooms are generally spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. However, one guest found the €100 room too small, comparing it to camping and noting that it did not match the photos.

The majority of guests highlight the immaculate cleanliness, pristine bedding, and comfortable mattresses. The furniture and interior decor are described as stylish and well-maintained. The yurts are provided with an ample supply of blankets, though some guests recommend bringing extra blankets in October due to chilly nights.

The property features a magnificent, well-tended garden with lush greenery and flowers. There is a large, clean heated swimming pool (up to 24°C) with plenty of sun loungers. Guests can also enjoy the spa area, including a hot tub and hammam (access may be subject to a fee, such as €50 per hour). For nature enthusiasts, cozy relaxation areas and terraces are available throughout the grounds.

The property is ideal for both families and large groups of friends. It is possible to privatize the entire estate for special celebrations; in this case, a large communal hall with a long dining table, a kitchen, and a barbecue area are provided. The hotel is family-friendly: it was noted that a child's dinner was tailored to their preferences. A friendly ginger cat also lives on the property.

Overall, the hotel offers an atmosphere of tranquility, calm, and harmony, often referred to as an "oasis of peace" and a "slice of paradise." It is an ideal getaway for those looking to escape the daily routine, connect with nature, and wake up to the sound of birdsong.
