Thanks a ton Michele for the warmth of your welcome. Everything has been perfect for us on our way to Compostelle. I very much recommend Lamothe in Flamarence. Tip as the lodge is a bit off track (1.5 km) dont hesitate to ask Michele to pick you / drive you up at the parking at the entrance of Flamarens. Hi to Berty as well the dog of the house.

We are walking the Way of St James and our travel agents booked Maison Lamothe. It has been one of our favourite stays. Michelle is a wonderful host and Bertie the dog makes the house a home. We soaked our tired legs in the cold pool and enjoyed the beautiful upstairs space all to ourselves. There are different levels of accommodation and plenty of parking for road travellers. A great meal and breakfast. We loved it.

10 stars out of 5! Michelle is so fun and entertaining, she makes you feel right at home. I am hiking the Chemin (Camino) to St Jacques de Compostelle and this has been a highlight along the way! Great dinner, great conversation, outstanding breakfast! She was made to be a great hostess, with a great sense of humor! And take a plunge in the pool too!
