The property is lovely, the room wad spacious (ask for a fan) the pool is exquisite, and the hosts are unparalleled. Confession — I tend towards introverted, so thought I would be annoyed or overwhelmed. Not at all — because Christine and Raymond are intuitive and fabulous. Oh and the breakfasts and dinner — so great. And for my narrow palate of no fish, seafood, veal, game, duck, made the best rusticia pasta.

Wow! This is how to run a “Chambre d’Hote”. We had a fantastic stay complete with chef prepared dinner and hot breakfast. The room was clean and spacious and the grounds are expansive and well-manicured. Our hosts were gracious and welcomed us with refreshments after a long day on the GR 65. They went above and beyond to meet some of our dietary restrictions and made our stay the best yet on the Route. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic stay we had for 6 nights! Chefs Raymond and Chrisje made sure this was the highlight of our road trip in the Southwest of France/Andorra/Barcelona. The breakfasts are amazing with local and home made ingredients / goods. The dinners equal Christmas dinners! Special aperitif, multiple courses, followed by a variety of local cheese and dessert. The pool is a godsend in the summer. The location of the Colombier de Bach is surprisingly fantastic as so many day trips to a variety of sightseeing locations in France can be reached and enjoyed very easily: Rocamadour, Cahors, Gouffre de Padirac, Grottes de Cougnac, Gourdon, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Cordes-sur-Ciel, Albi… the list can go on and on. Accommodation is very clean, Wi-Fi working excellently, parking on premises, and security guards (dogs and cats) always friendly and alert!
