Fasthotel LEldorado in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Fasthotel LEldorado located, and what is the surrounding area like?

The hotel is located in a commercial/industrial zone, which some guests found uninviting and desolate in the evenings. However, many note that despite this location, it is completely quiet at night. Reviews do not mention access to the city center or local attractions, but they do emphasize that the building itself is easily accessible.

Does the hotel offer parking?

The hotel has a large parking lot with ample space, even for oversized vehicles. However, one guest noted that the parking is unsecured, as it is part of a shared commercial zone.

How polite is the staff, and how does the front desk operate?

Most guests describe the staff as very friendly, welcoming, professional, and hospitable. Special thanks are given to the manager, Aude, for taking great care of the guests. Nevertheless, there was one recorded incident of highly unprofessional front desk behavior: after mistakenly calling a sleeping guest, a staff member responded rudely and inappropriately, dismissing the customer's complaint.

What breakfast and dining options are offered at Fasthotel LEldorado?

The hotel features an on-site restaurant serving simple home-style cuisine, which many guests praise for its quality and affordable prices (such as lunch for €14–15). However, there are some negative reviews: one guest noted a lack of vegetarian options and a limited menu, while another mentioned disproportionately high prices for beverages (wine and coffee) compared to the inexpensive main courses. Reviews of the breakfast are mixed: some guests find it suitable for starting the day, while others describe the selection as very sparse and "light".

What is the standard of room comfort, bed quality, and decor?

Opinions on the rooms are mixed. Many guests find them clean, spacious, and good value for money. However, there are notable complaints about wear and tear: outdated decor, aging fixtures, stains on furniture, and a need for complete renovation. Regarding sleep quality, some praise the high-quality mattresses, while others complain about small beds (140 cm), old and uncomfortable mattresses, and curtains that fail to adequately block out light.

How good is the soundproofing in the rooms?

The overall atmosphere in the hotel is peaceful, and the rooms are quiet at night. Nonetheless, one guest noted that room 202 had insufficient sound insulation between neighboring rooms.

How clean are the rooms, and how does the air conditioning work?

Room cleanliness is generally rated positively, with most guests describing the rooms as very clean. Some rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a small refrigerator, which guests found very practical during hot weather. However, one review mentioned the smell of cigarette smoke in the room.

Is the hotel's Wi-Fi reliable?

One guest noted that the Wi-Fi worked poorly because the signal barely reached the room (the access point was located too far away).
