Me and my daughter had a wonderful stay at the Schwanenvilla at the end of May! What a beautiful place to relax and unwind and enjoy the sunshine! It’s such a perfect place to come and stay in when visiting the area. Suse and Karl were so attentive and excellent hosts! Always making sure we were comfortable and fed us delicious food!
Paraza itself is a beautiful little place to walk around, the canal du midi is delightful to cycle along! And lots of other nice places near by to visit!
The rooms were very nicely presented, clean and tidy and tasteful, the whole place was well thought out and comfortable to use. It is a shared space with other guests if there are other bookings, but this was nice and provided social evenings around a delicious meal prepared by the excellent master chef, Karl. Felt like going out to a restaurant!
The delightful pool provided a refreshing dip and so much laughter for my daughter! Perfect for all ages!
Oh and the views! The Pyrenees in the distance, still covered in snow! Breathtaking!
Definitely a place to come and stay in and for a very reasonable price for what you get. Will definitely be returning…

My son and I were fortunate enough to spend almost an entire week in Paraza, nestled in the warm hospitality of the Schwanenvilla and surrounded by vineyards, situated along the picturesque Canal du Midi. Our stay became an unforgettable experience that we thoroughly enjoyed. The tranquility we found there was simply heavenly, and waking up in such a peaceful, enchanting atmosphere made each day start perfectly.
Not only was breakfast a daily highlight, but also the invitations from our hosts to join them for lunch and dinner. These moments of togetherness, witnessing true hospitality, and the always interesting exchanges were particularly enriching and made us feel truly welcome. The food itself, mostly prepared by Karl, was exquisite and testified to the love and care with which it was prepared.
The word ORGANIC is taken very seriously throughout the house!
The Schwanenvilla itself is a place that offers everything one's heart desires – a perfect starting point from which one can quickly reach interesting places with historical backgrounds. Suse and Karl are very familiar with the area and have suggested and advised us on daily excursion destinations upon request.
Then, of course, the charming surroundings speak for themselves. The opportunity to relax in a beautifully designed garden by both hosts was particularly delightful.
