Great hotel to stay in clean warm and friendly and close to everything.

Half-board:
Room not too big but comfortable, no noises.
Classic breakfasts.
Dinners: no big plates but very "tasteful".
Owners: nice, present, discreet.
Environment: no street noise, just the adjoining torrent that cradles us.

As always, we feasted on our taste buds and our eyes.
The table not to be missed at Ax-les-thermes.

I can not judge the quality of the hotel, having not stayed there, on the other hand for the restaurant: excellent meal, very warm atmosphere! The products are quality, everything is perfectly controlled, with a simple presentation, a nice mix of very good food "like at home", the price plus, but it's worth it!
The staff is very attentive and knows how to explain their card. Bonus: There is a lot of space between the tables which allows not to be one on the other!
Be careful, remember to book, especially in the middle of the ski season! You can also do it directly online.

Very good hotel and restaurant. The only small downside is the bed for us. After the breakfast meals in the room was very good and saw it at the top.

The rooms are a bit noisy but the staff is at small care and the dinner has feasted on our taste buds. A perfectly successful romantic weekend.

I totally agree with the last opinion.
This property cannot be categorized as 3 stars or even 2 stars.
I summarize: for a room paid €100 — no parking, I had to park my vehicle at more than 500 meters.
— Building with an outdated aesthetic, without elevator.
— Small room summarily furnished. Uncomfortable pillows.
— Bathroom without shower, a bathtub with which it is not possible to take a bath as far as the shutter is absent. Not even a Cup to wash your teeth.
— Wi-Fi… Yes, but unusable. Small format TV.
— Breakfast (9. €50) at the height of a 2-star hotel to conclude this panegyric. This hotel is absolutely not up to its category.
I wonder about the imperity of the inspectors of the Michelin Guide. I infer that they did not visit any rooms.
As the booking site reviews that are inaccurate I must however report the quality of the restaurant, although I find high prices for a bottle of mineral water for 4. €50 or a glass of wine for €5

This review is of the restaurant only, but we will definitely consider staying here in future. One of the best meals we've had all year. Decisively one of the best in the area. We were recommended the place by our guide for a mountain biking tour who said people are never disappointed. We could see why. The service was great and everything we tried in the menu was interesting and wonderfully executed. They had many touches like herbal emulsions and infused oils that separate cooking from great cuisine. Can't recommend it enough!

No insulation.
Parquet creaking, one hears every step of the other guests in the hotel so impossibility to sleep if the neighbor of the top has decided to wake up at 6 am …
No air conditioning and inability to open the window because otherwise there is a loud ventilation noise (probably air conditioning but not for the room I had chosen)
Really low end pillow.
Anyway, taking your balls earplugs, it will save a little bit of your night.

The breakfasts served in the room are below what is expected of this establishment, per person for 11 € 50, a fruit juice a mini croissant a mini chocolate bread of the wand, a little butter chair, and a fruit … when there is! Disappointment. The last day even no pastries … it seems that there were no more. But no discount!

Very good address for a stay in love. Comfortable rooms and restaurant with simple but very nice cuisine. Possibility to privatize the SPA to relax after a day of skiing or a snowshoe outing.

We had a great evening with the whole team at the Chalet.
Everything was delicious!.
Freshness and perfect balance of flavours, cooking skillfully mastered to finish on a dessert all in subtlety and lightness. Bravo to all and thanks again for allowing us to live every time as beautiful moments.

I would pay twice the price if I had to! It's just a wonderful chef, probably the best restaurant I visited in my whole life. If on your way to Andorra, have a stop here, you won't regret… It's beautifully dressed, seasoned and it's original.

We had two bad experiences at this place — 1st in 2004 when the proprietors / chef had a good reason to leave the staff to run the place. So this year we thought we would give it another go — should have given it a miss. The menu offered at the table was nothing like the one online — excused (eventually offered) was that it was low season (in September) and hence skeleton staff only who would not be able to handle a full service menu. Obviously the place is due for a refurbishment with broken furniture and the 'terrace' in bad repair — plus I locked myself in at one point — and only managed to escape via the terrace door … maybe they should close the place for summer and just open as a winter chalet?

A really excellent and a rare value (19/01/2013) lunch!
This does not look like that, but I have eaten better during this meal that in most of the restaurants with a Michelin chef's hat that I could attend. I highly recommend the "virtual cheese": brie decomposed vanilla absolutely wonderful.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is "casual" and the service friendly but once again it is the quality of the plate which is really extraordinary.

A unique experience, right by the river, 1 minute from the ski access. Fantastic food, great people. Go.
