Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is the guest house located and what is the atmosphere like?

Le Barbajou is located in a peaceful area, surrounded by mountains and nature, making it ideal for relaxation and recharging. Although the house is situated near a road, it remains quiet at night. Guests highlight a general atmosphere of simplicity, friendliness, and authenticity, and also mention the pleasant sounds of nature, such as the rooster crowing in the mornings.

Is there parking at the guest house?

Yes, parking is provided directly in front of the house. Guests confirm that it is convenient, including for motorcyclists, and the availability of a garage for two cars is also mentioned.

How is the staff and how are the guests treated?

The staff and the owner, Valérie, are described as extremely friendly, warm, and hospitable people. How are the rooms and common areas equipped?

The rooms are spacious and clean, and some guests received a room upgrade upon arrival. The house has common areas: a large dining room, a living room, and a well-equipped kitchen with dishes, pots, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. However, some visitors note that the decor in the house, and especially in the dining room, is outdated and too rustic in style, suggesting that the interior could be reconsidered.
