I fell in love with this hotel and the area it is in. It is perfect for visiting Paris. Clean. Friendly staff (we are in Paris! ). The rooms are small and the bathrooms microscopic but there's everything you need. Breakfast is also good, but in Paris you can also go around looking for a good place to do it and under the hotel you can find something very good.

The view from my room was amazing. Friendly reception all day long, but the rooms were tiny. I felt like Alice in wonderland. But it was also fine because we mostly stay for sleep and shower. Water pressure was also low, but the location was perfect and price low.

Lovely hotel! room small & yet modern & clean … many thanks to Mathew at the front desk, he was very helpful … location is great! Train station near by, Variety of restaurants around, safe at night … will use the hotel again & recommend to friends.

I love the room design. Though it is a small room, but it was very comfortable. Tbey separate the toilet and shower. A quiet little place good for a rest.

Arrived in a group for an extended weekend, we were greeted in an impeccably held hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Fully refurbished, a fitness room and a sauna will be available soon.
The brunch was plentiful, and quality products. Nothing to complain about but we will return!

After a difficult situation arose, the people at La Demeure were very helpful and treated me well. The room was small but adequate. Sophie, one of the receptionists, was especially helpful and kind. Thank you!

An ideal choice for a short stay in Paris. Small but fine rooms (all very clean), delicious, typical French breakfast buffet and an optimal connection to the local transport.

Hotel away from the center but near the subway and the. The nice rooms but the sound isolation is not top… (doors slam) it should also be noted that the rooms are very small. Breakfast is ok, everything. Good hotel but still a few things to change.

Nice place, nice rooms and staff. The sound insulation is ok, but we expected a better hint for the price. The heating dropped us: no luck, but no problem to change rooms.

The room is comfortable and nice. The shower is very good, however, if used to full capacity, the water can get out of the shower. The location is good for that has access to transport and has a bakery across the street (L'epi Saint Marcel) delicious and wonderful. The facilities of the hotel require a bit of a maze especially in the hallways.

Super happy again, only the Nutella for the frühstückscreps was missing.

Perfect. This is the perfect fit! Chic rooms with a lot of design, Nespresso machine, kettle and very good beds/pillows.

Wow when one of France's top orthopedic surgeons books this hotel you know you have made a fantastic decision. Remember France or Paris in particular has to maximise small spaces and this hotel has nailed it. An absolutely perfect relaxing contemporary hotel set in a Haussman Building. What more can one ask for. Its absolute perfection!

A practical hotel, quiet, well located, clean and with very pleasant staff. The bed is magnificent.

I’m only giving this hotel 2 star because of extremely friendly and kind staff otherwise, it doesn’t even deserve that! Room without curtain, awful smell, breakfast poor and early morning maintain work meant this hotel is a complete rip off. To be avoided!

Staff are the best in France. The rooms are small a bit for couple with big bags to move around the room. Very close to metro.

We were on the first floor Coast street no view! And the people who passed through the street could see what was going on in our room! We would wish to be on the floor like some of your customers…

The hotel is located in a nice area, with plenty of restaurants, bakeries, and stores nearby. The room was mid-size. There was much more than a bed and chairs, but I have to admit that the matrass was comfortable, especially after full day of walk in the city. I paid a bit extra for a room with larger bathroom and it was outstanding. It was very spacious and there was a bath tub in the middle of it. The lobby area is well decorated, there are elevators, and the breakfast is too pricey.

Nice, small, elegant hotel in good location. Small rooms with good furniture and modern, elegant design. No fridge in rooms. Decent breakfast with fresh and cooked items. Weak internet, poor drainage from shower caused minor flooding in my room, wasn’t able to get an iron from reception. Staff are friendly. Being a small city-centre hotel is doesn’t have gym or pool or anything like that. Room service food available until 10pm, various bars and restaurants nearby after.

We booked for three nights from October 16 to October 19. We chose this particular hotel because it's a short walk to our friends who recently moved to Paris. The negatives: 1) teeny tiny room (to be expected based on other reviews, but still oddly tiny compared to previous hotels (Le Meridien is one example) we've stayed at in Paris), 2) really weak Internet connection (basically, don't bother trying to use the Internet), 3) indifferent housekeeping (no housekeeping service on October 17 because it was too late after we had been out from 6 am and returned to our room at 3:30 pm to find the room exactly the way we left it, so we had to call the front desk and ask for towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper to be brought up to the room. Front desk was indifferent about the fact that the room had not yet been cleaned). Other than the location, I would never stay at this place again. Next time we will take up our friends' offer and stay with them!

Hotel refurbished this summer: comfortable room, clean, nice.

Within walking distance from Sorbonne, and about a 25 min walk from the Luxembourg gardens. The hotel is Housed in a historic building, the rooms have been recently refurbished. Good location, very clean rooms and helpful staff. Made for a great stay in Paris.

Low prices, good place, close to Gare de Lyon.

Good clean room but not the greatest breakfast.

Shame about the renovations and lift not working (had we known we would not have stayed) We had to climb 6 flights of stairs to our room and avoid "construction zone" on way up — giving us bigger/better view rooms did not compensated for this. Good location though and friendly staff.

The hotel is under construction. The elevator is unusable (attention for the elderly) the Lapidary reception and the breakfast that I did not take was billed to me… the answer to my courteous claim was: it's included… That's too bad. I do not recommend this hotel. There are many others in the neighborhood to try!

Cozy and clean hotel, which is a rarity in Paris for these prices. We stayed in a double room on the fourth floor with a view of the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Staff courteous and helpful in every issue! Highly recommended!

We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Good breakfast, very clean room and bathroom. The only drawback we were placed on the first floor and the view of the room overlooked the hotel's bins.

Very comfortable and clean, staff friendly and helpful for any kind of information, conveniently located within walking distance from the metro station les gobelines. The rooms are small but Nice is the bathroom equipped with everything you need including the hair dryer. Big breakfast that satisfies every need. I recommend it.

When we sum arrived the room was dirty, there was blood on the wall.
The balatome is incorrectly installed. The cut not clean background

Not impressed that they used my card details without authorisation. I definitely would not recommend the customer service.

Right next to the 5th arrondissement, the hotel is really very nice and the staff is incredibly friendly.

Tiny room but lots of atmosphere! Very friendly and helpful staff considering we don't speak French.

The entire hotel is air conditioned which makes for a very comfortable stay if the temperature outside is soaring into the 90s. The hotel is very nicely decorated with comfortable sofas in the lounge area. On the walls are photos of 'old' Paris which are very interesting. The bathroom is very convenient with a walk in shower which is a good one. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the breakfast is very good. No pain au chocolat was the only complaint. The area is very pleasant with plenty of restaurants and cinemas nearby. The metro station is just a short walk to the end of the street. Highly recommended.
