Pleasant stay in this hotel.

Don't trust the photos. The hotel is poorly maintained. The surroundings of the pool are abandoned and dirty. There is no lawn. All burned in the sun. There's butts and trash all around. The sunbeds are broken or torn for the most part. In the hotel the carpet is disgusting. Meal trays are left on the floor. Go your way. We cut short our stay. It's shameful to consider it a 4-star.

I was extremely disappointed, pool not at all interspersed, the stairs that lead from the spa to the pool are really deplorable dead insects floating. The bottom of the pool is black in places.
Certainly I did not expect great luxury given the price but still.
Breakfast is advertised as being continental formula, there is absolutely nothing to eat (a piece of bread, a mini croissant, a mini chocolate bread)
Otherwise the treatments are fine and the rooms correct.

The ideal for a green family reception or a work meeting… I had the chance to go there several times for work and a nice birthday of friends, greenery near the forest with a spa and a pool at the top. Excellent restaurant… In short, that from the.

Comfortable room and good room service.

La prestation de massage est très bien avec un petit thé offert. On a passée une agréable journée entre filles au spa et au bord de la piscine. Le restaurant est juste en face donc c'est pratique. Le menu est à 22€ ou 29€ au choix — correct et sympa.

We stayed there for two days, two nights.
Very competent, pleasant and helpful staff. Always smiling.
Breakfast "European buffet" very good, lots of choice.
Pleasant pool, perfectly heated. Sauna very appreciable.
The rooms are nice well maintained with a very smiling and friendly room staff.
In short, a good address located just 1 hour from our capital.
I recommend, and we'll even come back!

To be a 4-star hotel has a few flaws, like the dirt parking that you struggle to drag suitcases and rooms on the first floor without an elevator. For the rest, clean room and sufficient basic amenities: soap and shampoo, 2 towels per person, 1 bottle of water (but we were in 4). The property also has an outdoor pool and spa, but being passing through for only one day (to visit Fontaineblau Castle which is theorized 10 min drive) we did not use it.

Very welcome by the team. Nice room. Quiet exterior. Flat on the restaurant. The buffet starters and desserts very basic. Have a nice breakfast.

Really nice hotel also for dogs it's really good because there is a frorest nearby also the swimming pool is really great.

Deceptive photos, disappointed with the exteriors, for a 4 hotel ⭐ one expected much better. Price of excessive restaurant dishes, small lunch varied but expensive anyway because when you just get up hungry to wonder if chocolate bread and croissants are not frozen. Pleasant welcome but services eventually to be desired.

Comfortable beds and modern redesign done to the rooms. Hotel is generally very worn and needs a complete makeover or pulling down. The 4 stars must have been for when it was first built.

Cleanliness, bedding comfort and soundproofing at the top. Breakfast very varied with fresh and very quality products. Dirty pool with unattractive water. Very many suspended particles, hair, in short to avoid. Not at the rest.
Outdoor parts with a lot of potential but the maintenance leaves something to be desired.
The green spaces are raw, no flowers.

Great atmosphere, Tenniscourt, Pool, Pooltable, Spa, Tabletennis and much more.

Excellent hotel with everything you need for an overnight stop. Secure payable underground car park. Within walking distance of the old town. Very pretty square and narrow streets.

We entrusted them with the realization of the happiest day of our lives, and they sublimated it beyond our expectations, everything was perfect, I took my hats off. A listening team, and good advice, thank you for everything. We highly recommend it.

La chambre est grande et bien décorée, la salle de bain très agréable, et le restaurant super. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et la carte pour le midi et le soir originale. La piscine est agréablement chauffée, et le spa très appréciable. Il y a en revanche pas mal de bruit dû aux enfants, mais c'est normal :)

Excellent hôtel, salle de sport un peu minimaliste mais des soins (massages) à dispo, un sauna, une piscine extérieure chauffée et un restaurant excellent! Tout le personnel était charmant.

Lovely place, very nice staff, removed from the noise of the city and yet so close to everything. For the catering you should not be afraid of the novelty and breakfast copious and really greedy. Great stay in Love.

In the forest of Fontainebleau this comfortable hotel and located in the nature. To spend a weekend relaxing with the family is ideal. The sauna, the outdoor heated swimming pool, the tennis courts everything is included with your room. A large terrace for lunch outside, a billiards many games for children. A modern bar for a well-installed drink. Just out direct the Fontainebleau wood with many easy walks for everyone. Around many activities horse, Park adventures, recreation base etc. The restaurant is excellent as well as breakfast. All the staff are at your little care. The place to not miss the weekend!

The question is: how this could be a 4 star hotel. This is not fair. It should be much more less than that.

Nice atmosphere walls a little thin, you hear the neighbors the spa is quite full and not very large, difficult to enjoy.
The lobby is friendly with a bar, billiards and a fireplace rather comfortable room the place is eccentric of the city so it is rather quiet but if you want to do an activity you have to take the car.

Room was very nice Its layout and equipment are well thought out and practical. Friendly staff The main thing is here.

Hotel easily accessible, good welcome, clean room. Only snag Access spa from the outside and you have to settle for a sauna / pool, no hot tub steam room.

A 4-star quality Hotel, perfect for decompressing the Parisian daily.
The rooms are cosy and clean with TV and free Wi-Fi, the breakfast buffet is excellent and the dinner is really plentiful. Presence of a bar and tables of games in the Hall (table football, billiards…). Dogs allowed. Spa and sauna for relaxation. For nature lovers, the Fontainebleau forest is at 10-15 MNS by car.
I recommend this place without hesitation for those who wish to spend a relaxing weekend with their half or even their children.

Nice hotel, great entrance hall with billiards corner and very modern bar. Modern room also but not in perfect condition, even some dirty things (see photo of the armchair) otherwise good comfortable bedding, mini fridge with a bottle of water offered, fortunately besides because in view you room rate… I paid 160 (Room with breakfast included), otherwise lunch is at 16.50…
I find the room rate very high considering the location, we are still away from Paris…
Conclusion, nice hotel, room maintenance to review especially considering the price, which makes the value for money for me is not at the top.

Not enough experienced bar staff. Cold, unappetising dinner served late because of slow bar service. Breakfast chaotic. People smoking at main exit. Otherwise average.

Good hotel despite the outside appearance. Comfortable room. The restaurant is good. However the service is to be reviewed. Wine at the table without the glasses, cold coffee, withdrawal of the plates without finishing the meal, mistake of the cocktails.

The hotel is not very nice from the outside but once inside everything is very well thought out, with different spaces (bar, restaurant, relaxation area, heated swimming pool, spa). The staff are nice and available. The room as it should be. In short a very good hotel close to Fontainebleau ideal to relax and enjoy Fontainebleau.

Place in the French countryside/forest with swimming pool and possibility of bike rides. Food can improve.

This hotel was conveniently located for a business trip and is about 15 minutes from the historic Fontainebleu. The staff are helpful and patient with those of us with little French. The menu is small but we'll done, not a problem. The only minor complaint is that the hotel is a little "old style" in decor, this is minor. I wish I had time to try out the pool and spa, but this is business…

We must not rely on the façade, which is old-fashioned. The rooms are large, clean, the bedding is perfect. A great outdoor pool to relax in. Good food. Satisfactory work.

The stay at this hotel, though only one night was very pleasant and convenient in my Travels through France. It is one of the only well rated hotels in the area. I particularly want to express my gratitude to the staff of this hotel for their diligence and honesty for returning a small item I left behind, which could of easily been discarded because it was of little apparent monetary value. It had a high personal value to me though and they responded to my inquiry of whether I left it there very promptly. They followed up with the staff in searching for it, and made arrangements to mail it to me at a later location during my trip. This kind of service I was not expecting. Clearly a great service ethic at this location.

The hotel room was really hot and I don't think the AC was working. Likewise the fridge in the room didn't work… Room itself is basic but ok.

With my friend we were greatly disappointed. We were ill-informed early in the booking.
Cannot access the hotel transit contrary to what told us by phone, or access the Castle from the hotel.
No information on the site weekendesk correspond to reality — the Hotel Novotel Fontainebleau Ury offers appear on the site but were actually more valid as we learned by phone when booking.
Rather than pay 109 euros for two persons with access to the spa and breakfast offered we were give the price of 139 euros without breakfast, to add 31 euros.
Then the total 170 euros instead of 109 as supply indicated. We have lost 72 euros just for arrival at destination (ticket train, taxi from the station of Fontainebleau).
On-site we have learned that the receptionists who work for Novotel are based overseas employees. What explains that their indications are totally random!
Disappointed by the accumulation of misinformation we decided not to stay and leave the hotel.

Very good hotel. Good location, room comfortable, design and clean, the pool is not bad, just needs a little room for the hammam and the sauna. Cozy and soft. The quiet and charm are by appointment. Very well.
