Superb hotel I love and in quieter and the place is very pretty beautiful forest landscape.

Home nice, the staff is friendly and the little ones care for the customers. Mention special for Anna, Yacine and Deolinda. Breakfast the best, rooms clean and spacious… Just may be the deco that would need a bit of modernity otherwise, the rest is at the top. Balcony with nice view, sauna, tennis court, … Do not hesitate.

Slightly run down and past it's time. No bar or lounge area only a limited restaurant. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Buffalo Grill opposite to eat otherwise about 1 mile to city centre.

Hotel well a lot of comfort on the other hand there is a big problem sound insulation in the rooms.

The bedding is good. The room is great but the decor and cleanliness is to be reviewed.

Been here 3 yrs ago. Cosy rooms but with small bathroom. Little bit old lift. Good food.

This hotel was very dated when you enter, the lifts are old and scary. However the room is nice. It isn't beautiful but has the essentials such as heater, ac, kettle, good TV and channels. The bathroom was very clean and nice looking. The comfort of the pillows and bed was amazing and that's why I gave four stars otherwise it would be three. I didn't check anywhere else in the hotel but it is quite old and very dated.

The hotel is good but they charged me 2 times the price of the room; I contacted them and I still have not been refunded. Be vigilant!
The hotel is fine but they charged me on my credit card twice and still no. Refund… Be careful!

Test the majority of hotels desperately between saint-fargeau and fontainebleau, the Grand monarch with its clean rooms and a nice garden view is probably the best hotel around Melun. Other hotels, at similar prices, offer food and more industrial breakfasts.

My title may seem exess but also weird that its may seem like basic still correct the Venezuelan staff of the entered everything as maid through the owner's son… However this owner in question should exercised in any hotel and na not to choose this job by vocation… because it exploits its staff (1 single housekeeper for more than 40 rooms… stewardess luxury is the same that served us the bed and breakfast) what we confessed one of them out of spite.
