What we do now will cause effects in the future in this life or in our next life. So please stop this bar. Please don't use the image of Buddha in there.

The food is bland and ordinary and you can taste the staleness. We ordered 2 mains including black cod and beef with pepper sauce and I bet any ordinary Asian restaurant would do it in a better way. Cocktails are not very special either. I would recommend getting your moneys worth elsewhere.

The famous Buddha Bar in Paris. The place to be. Pricey but chic and trendy lounge atmosphere. The food is oriental. The music will get louder and louder as you get close to midnight…

Had the Red Curry for a whopping 29€ and it was a very small portion. The volike ot the playlist was too high and more fitting for a club.

The atmosphere is beautiful and food is great. Not the best service but everything else overshadowed that. We had a fun time with the group we dined with.

A sensory and exotic experience in the heart of Paris.

Came here 20 years ago when I was in Paris for my honeymoon. Had a great memory of the place. As far as I can remember, it looks and feels exactly the same. That is where it ends. I went for dinner with 2 friends. We ordered 4 total dishes with a couple of beverages. The bill was 128 Euro. We were still hungry. The size of each dish is ridiculously small for the price. In addition, our server was non-existant. We had to ask for her over 5 times. The whole meal was just not fun. Food was good but we left hungry. I would go back for drinks but not to eat.

Very good place to eat, the atmospher is very nice and the music too, East Asian food, service is very fast, fancy and overall I liked it.

This place is just unbelievable! Drinks are AMAZING, food is INCREDIBLE and the service is BEYOND WORD. We sat at the dining area for dinner and a bottle of wine and then went up to sit in the mezzanine for some drinks. Best dinner we had in our 10 days in Paris.

I wanted to visit this place for years and all I found was overpriced food (even for Paris) and a bad service. I know it is a famous restaurant, but if they charge you 30€ for a 10 pz sushi it should be a life changing experience. Instead it was no different than those you can find in any all-you-can-eat sushi. Music and audio were poor and in general it's just a very dark Asian restaurant like any other but 6x the price just because it's famous.

Not recommended! The place is presented as a pleasant and classy space but when you arrive you will find an atmosphere of an Asian club. The music is so high that it does not allow the dialogue, the staff are very unhelpful, the food is ok but definitely not worth what it costs.

The fusion kitchen is very successful but not exceptional. The value for money is a bit high. Friendly atmosphere for an intimate meal.
The velvety butternut and the perfect egg are delicious.

Otherwise the alcoholic cocktails are too expensive and not tasty enough for what they promise. On the other hand, without alcohol, these are the best I have ever drank.

Very overdone, the place remains beautiful, the atmosphere is there but missing is COSI and chic side expected from the albums. Address to see but without rushing. Choose your other plans.

Beautiful place to spend a different evening. Preferably paired. The prices are obviously not affordable for everyone. For a dinner you hardly spend less than euro 50 apiece.

Loved the style of the place, dim lit lounge with two levels. It's called Buddha Bar but is actually a restaurant. Food is good (a bit on the expensive side), but I guess you are also paying for the location. Know that there is a secret bar hidden in the library that serves delicious cocktails (have to know the password, changes every month).

Music and location very nice, food particular Asian good, only thing I did not like to be close to other tables and hear their conversations, high prices…

My friends and I visited Buddha Bar twice. We dined the first time and had drinks into the wee hours the second time. The service and ambience is quite an enjoyable experience. There is a wide selection of food to choose from and the drinks are strong and sexy. The music is different, eclectic, and cool. You'll see some of everyone here. It's pricey, but worth it. If you've ever been to Tao in Hollywood, CA, you'll be taken aback by the similarities. We were told the owner of Tao and the owner of Buddha Bar were besties, thus the apparent copycat here in The States. Regardless, it's one of the trendier, must-visit locales in Paris. Don't go there if you're budgeting, but definitely expect to have a good time.

Nothing special except the interior design with a big buddha statue. Sushi was nice but doesn't worth the price that you give, you can easily find 1/3 price for a similar taste.

I was so desapointed by this place. Though that it was classy but no way. We waited for everything to order to get the food to pay the bill… to get a cocktail upstairs to pay for them. Only positive point I love the music they broadcast.

Excellent food, with a great variety of dishes; Drinks ready at your point. Nice lighting, very clean in general.

This was my 3rd (and last) time at the Paris location. By far the worst service, the waitress must've been fresh of the unemployment line. Had no clue how to service a table at a high end restaurant. Forgot to order dishes, didn't have a clue where to drop off the ones she did order, never brought the extra order of drinks and so on and so on. Just terrible. Then, to top it off, all the manager had to say was in sorry and walked away without any "let me make this better" ideas or gestures. Don't need to go there ever again, there are too many other great restaurants in Laris or anywhere else in the world!

Great date night/special evening place. Great mood, wonderful groove music, for sure go once in your life. Pricey, so I gave 4 stars but it's worth it for sure.

So the place is beautiful. The servers take very long to attend to you. But once they do, they are quick with their food.
I eat fish in India, but here the fish (sole in black bean sauce) had scales and all so I just couldn't eat it.
The chicken salad was good. The detox lemonade was yumm.
The prawn curry was yumm as well.
The calamari was good also.
The Mochi ice scream was yumm.
The chocolate sesame dessert was okay.

Nice ambience. If you are a vegetarian check out the menu before you head to this place as there isn't much for you apart from sushi. Nice bar and amazing cocktails too. Do book before you go as this place can get very busy over the weekends.

By far the worst service we have ever experienced. A group of 15 friends went to The Buddha Bar in Paris for a birthday celebration dinner. A few of us got served and we had finished our meal before the food started coming out for the rest of the group. Some food was sent back as it was wrong and by 11.00 pm one of our friends hadn't even had one course of her order. It was atrocious service and the manager didn't seem bothered or even know how to deal with the situation. A lot of angry people and not much compensation for this fiasco of a dining experience. The food is average but very over priced. Won't be recommending this bar or indeed returning.

The brunch formula is appetizing with a varied choice of salty/sweet.
The dessert buffet is delicious with its chocolate fountain, tiramisu and other delicacies etc…
Only small downside, the buffet does not offer any cup other than the one arranged on the table? you have to ask a waitress?

The place is in dire need for new manager. Maybe he/she is the reason the restorant is empty on Friday night. Manager declined to serve main menu food at the bar. While there is not a single person in a main restaurant. Atmosphere is good. Food fine.

I never ate as good Maki and sushi of my life! The service is quality, it is served very quickly. The servers are very nice. Although the prices are high but not excessive not related to quality.

The size and the ambience was fun and charismatic, in a fabulous postion, whilst the food was nice it wasnt the best!

This place was great! The sushi was great. Drinks were great. Yes, it is expensive but you get what you pay for. As an American it was my favorite spot in Paris. Buy a bottle and make your own drinks if you want to budget 200€ or less. Don't be shy and good luck!

Fancy bar serving decent cocktails that are priced reasonably. Sophisticated crowd, good spot for mingling.

Unfortunately not the experience that it should be. They pretend to be classy and sophisticated. Unfortunately I left my car with the valet parking man tot visit this buddha club. Without damage on the right side of my car. And then one hour later I got it back with damage. The way they 'solve' this issue, unbelievable. Yelling at a customer, I had to ask 3x times if the valet parking person could please lower his voice and watch manners, even the restaurant manager had to ask him to lower voice. I am a calm neat woman. Leaving me as a woman outside in the cold, not chique, not coming back to agreed appointments. Not taking responsibility. I went to police complaint and report. Even the owner. I have called about 9 times to get to talk to the owner. He never returns my calls when I left messages. So I am not fond of this place and how they manage a situation. And not taking the responsibility. For such a place like this, I would expect to have a normal way of communicating and solving problems. So don't leave your car at the valet parker. He is very messy and to busy, stressed out, to really take care of your car. No they don't have it.

It's very beautiful, very loundgy… But only if you can get into! I went there one night out of the blue and they turned away me because rather had been privatised without any indication to the entrance or on the web site… Not very cool. It was raining I have done 2 times around the neighborhood before finding an open replacement bar.

Fiendishly expensive, but what you get for your money is worth it. Well organised, sleek chic and sophisticated. In an upmarket part of the city, near the American embassy, the music, food, decor and ambiance, make for a special experience. This one in Paris is the original of a world wide franchise.

What we enjoyed at the Buddha-Bar
The self-service buffet: rich and delicious with a special mention for the scrambled eggs… (and tea Dammann).
Hot dishes of Asian inspiration: this is the first time we test a brunch which offers beef with Thai basil, curry yellow chicken, shrimps sweet sour sauce and rice to the shangaienne… And in addition to all the classic dishes (salads, cold cuts, cheeses, pastries, fruits, pancakes, etc. )
The possibility to order chicken nuggets or a hamburger without supplement for children. Indeed, despite a gargantuan offer, children often prefer to stay on the classics… When they eat!
Children's entertainment: a wide space is entirely dedicated to them upstairs and two facilitators take charge completely. Board games, DIY, makeup… My leprechaun doesn't want to leave!
Space: despite a room huge and well filled, we don't have pau had the feeling of promiscuity with our immediate neighbours.
Service: fast and efficient when we needed to order supplements or ask questions.
We liked least:
The brunch room is located in the basement, so although there is not any light of the day. It's a shame, especially when weather is nice.

Restaurant whose food leaves to be desired. Indeed, the waitress smelled like cigarettes in full work and ready to serve us. The music is too loud and you can hear s not even… The dishes like noodles are immersed in the oil and the rice is overcooked. Back to the chef. The dishes have been paid anyway. Service slow and useless. Managing zero pointed. I do not recommend this restaurant.

If I could I would put no stars. The home is totally unpleasant, for a "5 star" it's a shame. I call last night at approximately 10: 00 p. M. To learn vis a vis brunch and the booking, I am running into an incompetent, helpful and Lout, and it goes without saying that I was outraged to have such a return. It should review their staff because there is a way to apply to the customer.! Avoid strongly. It's very sad for a place that I had another image.

Still a very fun bar and restaurant. Perhaps a bit less frequented than before, but the food is good and the cocktails and ambiance is still great.

Place decoration very exotic and pretty. It is true that it is rare to find places like this in Paris. The drinks are very very very expensive and are not incredible. It is better to arrive early at the bar or reserve a table because the place is packed on weekends. As for attendance, a lot of tourists and I saw quite a few mature men only in a suit seeking I don't know what… And many young pretty vulgar and more than comely women they also obviously looking for something.
In short, the attendance will seem not friendly if you're here for a "young" and friendly atmosphere. The service is friendly. The restaurant looks good.

Geeat cocktails, music and ambiance.

Just ok… Although the ambiance in the main rooms are really great, and depending on the night, it can be a pretty cool spot. Food is underwhelming, considering the high cost.

We had a little trouble finding the Buddha-Bar Restaurant … Paris is not been easy to navigate. The Music was Fabulous (of course) ; The Food & Cocktails/Wine were better than expected — in fact we loved it… BUT the SERVICE was a little bit lacking … we arrived 15mins early (despite getting lost — we allow for that occurrence) &, to our surprise, they staff wouldn't seat us (Excuse — Table wasn't Ready … we later worked out it's a con to get you to drink in the Street Bar) … so, of course we had a cocktail (E36 for 2) … which was excellent … although quite dark — in fact you get a torch (to keep) just to read the menu. The Food service was not too bad, a bit slow & getting the bill was a challenge. We then went to the upstairs "Party/DJ Bar" to have another cocktail … took ages to get a menu, then more time before ordering & then we saw our drinks sitting on the bar for 10mins. We eventually asked the manager "Who do I have to Kill to get some Drinks? " … He then raced off & brought them to us himself — 45mins after we sat down? We complained to the manager about the slow/lack of service before we left & the manager asked if we wanted another drink … but it was already Mid-night after A BIG DAY & 45mins wait is tooooooo long.
