Basically I chose this hotel for its location next to the station where you take the TGV bound for Barcelona. Among the good things is a contemporary design, simple and enjoyable. The cámas are comfortable and the bathroom also looks good, especially with the electrochromic glass of the shower that gives the room. It has perfect connection to the Metro line 1 and 14, which are very practical. Safe and minibar. But here is the end of the good. In the service is where weakens. They did not do any room upgrades like Accor Platinum Although I did offer the welcome drink and a late check-out at 14:00 after requesting it. After the first night only a partial arrangement of the room was made (not even collected the wrapper of the soap pill that was on the sink). The only bathroom amenities are a soap pill and a soap dispenser in the shower, really poor as it looks like the level of an IBIS. The Wi-Fi with pretty weak signal.
Breakfast deserves a separate chapter. The management is a mess where you don't even ask the room number, so anyone can have breakfast without paying (it happened during the 3 days of my stay), I got up to go get some more food and upon returning I had unmounted the whole table. And honestly, the variety of products offered is more than disappointing. Trying to fill the buffet with many breads does not compensate for the notable absence of a good variety of cheeses and sausages. And as an auction, the surroundings of the hotel generate restlessness at certain times.
