Diamond of a hotel near Republic Square/Bastille and Gare du Nord. Staff so friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but spotless & very clean and have everything you need. Breakfast is fabulous and sets you up for touring Paris. I’d defo stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel District Republique. We booked our room through Airbnb. Check in was easy, the staff were very friendly. The room was small, but had everything you needed including an ensuite bathroom and it was quiet. We would stay again!

Very central hotel if you like to walk, you are 2.7km away. Everything but Eiffel Tower which is at 5 and something. Clean and comfortable. Rooms somewhat small, to sleep and relax perfect. Toilet and clean. Recommended. Very attentive staff.

A small, nice place with excellent service.

I went with two friends to Paris and booked 3 nights at this hotel. We shared a room with a double bed and a chair-bed. The rooms are tiny but very comfortable with modern furniture, comfortable beds and impeccable cleanliness. The front desk staff is lovely and they strove to speak in Spanish with us. We also kept our bags when checking out while sunny the last hours of the trip, no cost. In the room they have a teapot, glasses and tea-envelopes that came in very well to combat the cold Parisian of February. We didn't have the contracted breakfast so I can't comment. The location is very well with several Metro stops nearby, you get to the main points of interest in approx. 15-25 minutes. The neighborhood has very good atmosphere and there are several options to eat around.
The only negative point is that the bathroom door was not very intimate and the shower had to be somewhat jammed so you had to be careful not to overflow the water.
Even knowing the latter would definitely repeat and I would recommend it to everyone.

Good value for money Very close to three metro stations, including that of Piazza République. It was really simple and convenient to get around from this hotel. The rooms are very small but the price is justified. Only one flaw: linen on arrival dirty, the sheets, but they were dirty from laundry, they were probably deposited in some dusty shelf. The second day of stay there were not changed the shower towels and all the bathroom service (used) and at our request in reception we were told simply that they had no more…

Great location Welcome service and Place near the stop of Place de la Republique. A little noisy the pub place next door but acceptable! Very small room Super Recommended!

We stayed for two nights in this hotel. The standard rooms are small (the bed is little bigger than the one from a square and a half) but they are clean and nice warm. The location is great because close to many vehicles (it is halfway between two Metro stops leading to different areas of the city) and also quite quiet.
In our opinion the breakfast should be more plentiful. It is true that they carry a tray with a brioche, a piece of bread, a jam, a glass of Macedonia, a yoghurt though if one wants a piece of bread and an extra jam because it does not eat everything else that they bring there is always to ask… And it's not nice… In my opinion I would leave some jam/Nutella buffet and even a few pieces of bread or at least a few slices of biscuit.

I sent an email for some information but nothing (calls) the room told me 10 sqm but there is not even space to support their own stuff except on the suitcase itself, too shallow.

Heating is reall a problem. First my roon was extremely cold and it was not possible to manage the temperature myself. The ventilation system is very loud and therefore annoying at night.

The room is clean and not so small. Great thing is they have supermarket opposite the hotel. It is so convenient to buy water and other stuffs. The areas also full with trendy cafe which is convenient to get local breakfast here. And not so far from the metro and bus station! Only the location is loudly in the night for people hanging out.

Curious Hotel. Not very central but good value for money.

This hotel is perfect for anybody who wants to have a nice, quiet stay in Paris. I was there with my sister for 6 days in the first week of October. The only thing that sucked was that that their check-in time wasn't until 3pm and we arrived somewhere around 8:30AM and so after having walked around for a bit, getting lost and coming back and asking to sit on their couch in the lobby, they let us check in around 11:30AM because our room was ready. (Really grateful for that! ) The room was perfectly sized for my sister and I, and we only had our few bags, which fit in the closet, after unpacking. I booked a standard triple room. The hotel and rooms are very clean, the entire hotel is smoke-free, they have daily house keeping and the staff is very polite and speak English. The hotel is located across the street from a grocery store, where we bought food for our stay. The street could get busy but mostly, it was quiet. All in all, it was a wonderful stay! Highly recommend.

For people who are always travelling a lot and want to keep the bags in a safe place, need a bed to sleep and a clean toilet in the morning, this can be a good solution to them. Locationwise the hotel is not far away from train station, moreover 2 subway stations are really walking distance from the hotel. Workers are helpful and well behaved.

Stayed after a red eye from Iceland and was very comfortable. Clean rooms, bigger than expected, but not huge. Just enough room to rest and relax. Hosts were very kind. The neighborhood is busting with cafes and is close to multiple metro stations.

Hotel pequeño, nuevo muy limpio. Las habitaciones eran pequeñas pero muy limpias. Cambiaban las toallas todos los días si querías. El edificio reformado. Cuenta con Ascensor. Buenos desayunos. Se encuentra a 500 metros de la plaza de la República. Desde la plaza salen muchas líneas de metro. En la plaza de la República puedes cenar. Contento con el hotel.

Clean, attentive staff, air conditioning in all rooms, correct breakfast, convenient location and 30 seconds from the Metro.

Ok hands down the best thing about this hotel are the staff. They work hard to try to meet the guests' needs and are very polite and friendly. The staff go 100% out of their way to try to make the guests happy and they have an overall fantastic attitude and that's pretty much the only reason I gave them 4 stars. What I'd like to know is what makes a hotel a two star hotel? What standards should it have as a minimum? When choosing a hotel to stay in there are really alot of things guests might want or expect Now as it is a two star I didn't have my standards set too high. What you might expect are things like cheap room rates per night. I found the rooms are very expensive considering it's a two star hotel but then again it is very central so you have a easy commute to and from the main sightseeing spots. For breakfast you have a lot of choice when you go for inclusive in the room rate but the problem is the quality Cons: 1) Bread is not cooked it is bought in half baked and served half baked. I can't really blame the waiting staff or concierge for that, it's the people at the top that should make sure the staff know that the bread should be cooked 2) Pastries are overcooked on top and inside is dry and sadly not cooked on the side (they need more space on the tray when baking they shouldn't be touching not more than 16 mini pastries on a tray at a time) they shouldn't look like chocolate more golden brown.

It is centrally located. Close to the public Transport. Fair for the Money value considering the Paris prices.

Quite well located, as it is close to Gare du Nord/d l'Est and there's also a convenience store across the road. I found the front desk helpful, rooms are small but use space well. The hallways are very narrow, which may be an issue if your is big/wide.

Very good location, lovely staff, rooms are small it's true, but the goal in Paris is to enjoy a max of the city and have a comfortable bed to recover.

We spent the night of 23 — 01-17 in this hotel. The reception super Nice, on the other hand to avoid the winter, the temperature in the room was very low about 19 degrees too cold.
No extra cover!
For breakfast to avoid also during this period, because when a cleaning company comes to bring the sheets on the trolleys the front door remains open not top for breakfast.

Pitiful hotel like its manager and his so-called director.
Go your way and especially do not stop there.

Very nice location, Very friendly staff specially Alex. She helped us what we need to know about Paris in minutes. About the room, very clean and tidy as in everyday we come back after a long day from Paris tour. It was a memorable engagement for us and definetely we will come back to this lovely city. Well done guys. Keep it up.
