We had a wonderful stay at the hotel which has a amazing history reflected in its layout and furnishings. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and very accommodating with our small dog. Dinner and breakfast were both good and the overall value for money about right.
One large disappointment was the bedroom. There was no tea or coffee laid on and not even a bottle of water was provided. We were in the middle of a heat wave and the bed was covered in a full winter thickness duvet. For just a few Euros, all of the above could and should have been laid on for guests, which would have raised my rating to 10/10.
