Le Petit Château

This charming hotel was the perfect base for our Champagne region escape. Owners Chris and Annemieke are warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable—always ready with excellent recommendations for local restaurants, day trips, and hidden gems. We chose the all-inclusive package with breakfast and dinner, and I’m so glad we did. Chris is truly a top-tier chef. Every dish—from breakfast to dinner—was crafted with fresh, local ingredients and presented with finesse. Not a single meal disappointed; each was a five-star experience.
The rooms are spotless and beautifully styled, and the shared spaces, including the cozy sitting area and the elegant dining room, are tastefully decorated with a refined yet relaxed ambiance. Watching Chris work his culinary magic in the open kitchen added a personal, special touch.
A bonus? Just around the corner is a lovely Champagne house, which the hotel serves and sells—or you can visit directly. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking an authentic, luxurious experience in the Champagne region.

What an amazing experience! Annemieke and Kris made us feel like family. The dinner was marvelous! By far one of the best white fish and veal dishes I’ve ever had! And they think of every detail during your stay. Their recommendations of the area were the highlight of our trip, not to mention that they have very cute additional host, their Frenchie Freddy. We will be definitely coming back. :)

This was by far the best stop we've experienced in the area! The interior was fantastic, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner as well. We will definitely be returning!

We had a wonderful time visiting the Champagne region and staying at Le Petit Château. The hosts made us feel right at home with a very warm welcome. The atmosphere was cozy, and the dinner was so delicious. You can really tell how much care and love they put into everything. I recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. Plus, the host’s dog, Freddy, was an absolute delight and kept us entertained all evening!

This is our destination of choice when travelling in France. Kris and Annemieke are the perfect hosts and the food is wonderful. The rooms are stylish and comfortable and to top it off… there is Freddie the most adorable dog ever! The grounds are lovely… there is nothing not to like! We strongly recommend a stay (and we recommend the Odile pink champagne)

Le Petit Chateau was outstanding, immaculate, welcoming and comfortable. Kris's supper was absolutely delicious, very fresh and generous too. The bed's are good quality as is the bedding so we slept well and awoke refreshed. The bathroom was good, super white towels and the toiletries, in large bottles, are pleasantly fragrant. I was very happy to use them. We were stopping here en route to Calais, about 3.5 hours away but it really deserved a longer stay. The area with which I am unfamiliar, we normally stay in Reims, was green and attractive — the village Champagne producer is happy to provide tasting, his product is very good. I will factor it in to future trips.

Amazing and luxurious B&B and « table d’hôte » in a “quiet” village; perfectly located to discover the Champagne region and to go and visit local champagne farmers for a tasting.

We found this little gem via the internet whilst searching for chateaux accommodation in the Champagne region of France. The company we booked with, Champagne Travel, was excellent & our stay of 2 nights at this delightful small chateau was exceptionally well organised by Hinke at Champagne Travel, & it was such great value for money too.
Our hosts at the chateau (which is also their home) were the utterly charming Chris & his wife Anneka who served us sumptuous meals at breakfast & dinner & looked after us so well. Chris is a chef & used to run his own restaurant in Antwerp, Belgium, so we were treated to some outstanding meals. This really was a massive bonus — & all included in the price.
Their chateau was ideally located around 30 minutes' away from Epernay in the heart of the Champagne region & about 45 minutes' from Reims. Paris was also only around a 1 hr 45 minutes' drive away, though we didn't have time to visit.
We loved everything about our stay here & thoroughly enjoyed the trips to a large Champagne House & a small Champagne House, which were included in the deal by Champagne Travel. Everything absolutely exceeded our expectations & we loved our trip, including the couple's cute little French Bulldog, Freddie, who was clearly used to guests staying in his home as he was so friendly & at ease with visitors.

Everything was above and beyond our expectations here. We had the host giving us the best experience in food and stay.
Chris (host) was the chef that went out of his way to may amazing 3 course vegan dinner for me.
My husband who was a pescatarian was also very well taken care of.
Anna (host), thank you for your very warm personality and care thru out the stay.
Freddie, their lovely French bull dog will keep you well entertained.
This is surely a "Petite Jewel) in the Champagne valley.
