Wonderfully spectacular meal with Christopher Hay’s La Madison d’a Cote Friday night. Had the full menu with wine pairings. Perfect. Amazing attention to detail. The whole staff, including the personalized attention from Chef Hay, made the experience a delight. Food choices and range couldn’t have been better. Wine pairings enhanced each selection. Unique and attractive plates (the china and ceramics) made the perfect even better. Highly recommend!

Exceptional! The plates are delicious and surprising. The dishes are served by the chefs who take time at each table in complete humility. And in order not to spoil anything the products are carefully selected in short circuit in an eco-responsible approach. We were able to discover the garden the next day with the gardener who shared his passion. Happiness from start to finish!

Used to the table next door, I had lunch at the House next door for the first time this lunch… and it was to fall to the ground!
Hyper refined cuisine, tasty plates but also so beautiful to look at! Products worked like gems, incredible flavour assemblages… and extra service. (I even ate and loved the Cep, so I hate it! )

Happened to discover this great restaurant by chance and I am so glad we did. The food is amazing and the service is exceptional.

Awful experience after looking forward to this stop over after a two week holiday in France! Discriminated against because we had two younger members of the family with us — even though we had trooms booked and were residents in the hotel. They obviously thought they were going to cause a problem for the other guests or something so put us out of the way in the bar area! The worst thing was being lied to — when we asked why we weren’t in the restaurant we were fobbed off by being told we hadn’t booked earlier enough although we had booked in April — shame on you for your lies!

Without Prejudice What a terrible experience — having been fobbed-off into the bar area rather than the main bistro restaurant we enquired why? It was because other people had booked before us — oh they booked before April did they! Then we get the surly staff treatment — what a disgrace — we are then spoken to by the director of service (in fairness he came from the so-called two Michelin star establishment attached to the Hotel) and offered to move us to a table in the Bistro! He promised us a dining experience we would not forget — he was so right — absolutely dreadful food I really cannot find any quality or good to say about it.
Christophe Hay — if you were in your 2* restaurant this evening walk 2 doors down to the Bistro it needs your attention — they are killing your reputation — if you weren’t there my I strongly suggest again you pay attention to what is happening and sort it ASAP.
And as for the other diners and the rave reviews you seem to get about the Bistro they should all be more honest I thought it was the English that never complained.
You have had a lot of money from my family as we stayed in three of you rooms — never again you should be ashamed.

That's a step we really enjoyed. The welcome of the whole team, the room and its excellent bedding, the simple but gastronomic bistro (possibility to choose a starred restaurant). A good tip for those looking for quality, good taste and tranquillity.

The house next door is an excellent restaurant.
The food is extremely good, it is the cooks who present their dishes. They are therefore in the best position to answer all questions about dishes.
The wines (mostly local) are very good and served by an enthusiast.
The service can be improved, a waitress spilled a glass of wine on my girlfriend without apologizing, we did not get compensation despite a stained dress in the late evening, too bad.
However, despite this misstep, we will be back.
I highly recommend booking indoors, to have a stunning view of the kitchen. Indeed the outdoor terrace is tiny (3 tables) and overlooks the street.

This is their cafe next door. We had a delightful lunch with great young enthusiastic service. Prices reasonable considering the quality of food. Wine by the glass. Tasty beer on tap. Highly recommended instead of eating at Chateau Chambord nearby.

Great time, a friendly and smiling team that is running around to offer you its best cuisine. Excellent food/wine accompaniment also. To do it again without hesitation.

At the level of the catering nothing to say perfect the staff charming. Side Room double bedding perfect but side deco shift compared to the catering of standing especially at the level shower room and breakfast correct damage no orange juice pressed. But its still a good address.

A romantic dinner more than perfect. Next to the castles of the Loire, we went to discover the dishes of the region through a menu in seven services. A perfectly well-mastered dinner orchestrated by the chef and his team. We really enjoyed the open kitchens on the restaurant and it made us want to come back. A true culinary journey on the plates with delicate and refined presentations (I personally enjoyed the floral touches on each plate). Finally, we really enjoyed the meeting with the chef at the end of the meal and the small attentions of his team. A star more than deserved, and a second would be quite legitimate. Bravo again.

The setting is nice, the place just as much. However the tourist interest of the site leaves room for a little overrated rates for the service. The person at the reception managed the heating remotely and called the room where it was moving. Considerate but not necessarily pleasant client side.

To the top! We made a getaway to Montlivaut in order to close our holiday. Well, we don't regret it. We slept in the suit tortoise which has a modern and atypical decoration with the bathtub in the middle of the room. It is very well equipped and offers a very good value for money. We were fortunate to be able to dine at the gourmet restaurant. As good numbers of diners that evening, we were tempted by the tasting menu in 7 services representative of the products from the region. From the beginning to the end, we were enchanted. All the know-how of the kitchen team is expressed in this menu in the interpretation of exceptional products gleaned in the vicinity. So we learned that night that the Sologne was producing caviar and that a local breeder was taking the Japanese techniques to raise his Wagyu oxen. The staff are small care and rare thing, it is the cooks themselves who serve you the dishes. The explanations are clear and precise and sweat the passion they can put into their work. Also note that the kitchen is open to the room and that all the work is done in absolute calm. The sommeliers are not left out with a lot of tact and a hint of humour. They accompanied us throughout the meal and we let ourselves be guided by their choice of wines by the glass.
This dinner has been really successful and its value for money is not a common measure with what can be found in Paris.

Excellent Restaurant. Room with sober and clean decor. The staff is competent and nice, the dishes are delicious and creative, fine wines, or even exceptional wines at reasonable prices. We remember very good times spent in a restaurant Blésois where the boss of this House once officiated with Mr. Reithler. Life is beautiful. One of the best restaurants in the area, no doubt. When is an opening in Orléans for our greatest treat?
I highly recommend, of course.

A magical restaurant that takes you away, a staff at the top as much in the kitchen as in the dining room! What is impressive is the silence in the kitchen while our table was right next door, we feel all the concentration on the dishes … which are absolutely divine. This restaurant deserves much more than a star.

We were lucky enough to have dinner here twice! The whole experience was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable staff & really thought out delicious menus using local produce. Highlights for me were the Duck breast with cassis, onions & artichokes (the description doesn't do it full justice) & the amazing hot lemon soufflé with limoncello. The sommelier was very knowledgeable & helped us choose some great local wines. A fantastic restaurant with great atmosphere, lovely staff & amazing food. The soufflé is in my top ten best desserts, & I've tried quite a few! We will definitely be going back again at some point!

My husband gave me the superb surprise to book a table on the occasion of our wedding anniversary, I am still charmed by these dishes tasted, a real explosion of flavors with each bite, a superb vegetable presentation of the dishes in a pleasant setting. In a word it's perfect.

We had a truly wonderful dining experience here. The meals are presented with a lot of attention to detail and the service is outstanding. The interior is also very quirky, with unusually shaped and mismatched table settings that somehow work well together. Perhaps what most made our lunch memorable is the talented Christophe Hay who took the time to greet us, take our order and say goodbye. And finally, it was very reasonably priced for the set lunch menu. We were really made to feel like valued guests, invited to the chef's house — if you are in the Loire Valley, do not miss!

Amazing food. Limited selection and transparency of ingredients if you have allergies or dietary restrictions. Menu not available in English, but staff translated verbally pretty perfectly. Free Wi-Fi to keep kids occupied, still not the best place for little kids (e. G. No diaper changing station) otherwise Amazing.

We dined by chance with my partner in this excellent restaurant at the corner of a stay at Chambord. I must say that the experience was fantastic. First of all, the home of the team is perfect. We had probably not dress appropriate for this restaurant of high standard but that did not stop the team to welcome us as he would have done with their largest customers.
The room is very nice, so feel you comfortable, intimate but not isolated. Anyone can attend the show of haute cuisine which will unfold we our eyes and our taste buds. We tried the menus 5 white card services with wines: 2 starters, 2 main courses and 1 dessert. I éterniserais not on the description of the dishes because they change every time and the tastes and colors are different at all. But for my part, I've tasted delicious dishes with wines selected by the admirable sommelier married perfectly. Beyond good or bad, what mattered the most to me in this place, it's feeling the passion in every corner. Passion of the head and her seconds who bring their works at our table made with great care and passion of the sommelier who describes his finds and we invite to visit and explore with him the best wines of France.
You will understand that I highly recommend this address if you want a culinary experience and spend an excellent evening.

New chef and owner presents an exquisite array of delicious dishes with only the freshest local ingredients. Each of the five "carte blanche" courses were innovative in their creation and the medley of different textures was a culinary delight. A very pleasant discovery that we recommend wholeheartedly.

A beautiful discovery recommended by visitors to passage in my guesthouse. A fun course during which our taste buds are in Madness: rein to the Chief and the sommelier: we discover as the meal dishes that the chef prepared for us and the sommelier makes us discover a very interesting food and wine agreement.
