Food was good in the restaurant and the kids menu choices could be served with pasta which was nice for my fussy kids. I like the fact that there is a pool there when you wouldn't normally expect it for what is a convenience hotel for people on driving trips. The breakfast selection was pretty good. Good quality croissants and pains au chocolat, plus two different types of pancakes. Caters well for the sweet tooth! Check in staff were very welcoming. Only gripe was that they that the restaurant staff said that it was fully booked before changing their mind and deciding they could accommodate. Took a long time to take the order but after that the food came quick! The parking spaces are too narrow for the modern car, people were parked touching the lines to leave a gap to the next car and then it meant neighbouring spaces were unusable.

Our room was very clean, the beds were comfortable. The room was maybe a bit small but I liked it! Breakfast has it all!

Well appointed hotel. Loved the rooms layout and amenities. Rooms had good coffee/tea selection and other amenities. Friendly staff. Has a cosy and chic feel in the lobby and patio. Excellent choice for a night or two if you are in the area.

Room is clean and spacious, although we experienced a power outage the night we were there. Food was good. Staff were friendly to help us change room.

To avoid management and reception staff do not respect their words and promises made to customers when booking. (No respect for customers loyal to the Accor Group)

Entry of scrambled eggs fadasses served on a plate requiring to soak the bacon in the eggs.
Dish with raw vegetables served overdosed in spices and 3 small pieces of filet mignon of pink pork (so not cooked enough, they too).
All with a very good chablis, but for a total of €45, all the same.
In short, the kitchen is very clearly not at the level!

Nice rooms with a relaxing area with a sofa. Impeccable Service; The staff had the delicacy to book us two adjoining rooms. Free closed Parking.

Large, comfortable bed, but pillows were a bit flat and lumpy. Room was large and spacious, and had a big bathroom with a large ensuite with bath.

I loved the room, very nice, private, and clean. The staff was also excelent, the food was traditional french dishes, and a lot of options for the breakfast.

F1 hotels are excellent stopover options. Clean and convenient. And cheap. Good beds. Ask for extra pillows. Friendly staff. Secure car parks.

Very convenient Hotel as a base for exploring the chateaux of the Loire! The rooms are clean and well furnished, although a little small (the bathroom in particular). You can take advantage of the breakfast (good) in the hotel paying a fee apart from the price of the room. The parking is very convenient The hotel is outside the centre of Tours but in an area with restaurants and fastfood!

Mediocre food, very expensive for the quality you get. When I asked for a glass of red wine, they gave wine for 8 euros per glass without telling me the cost beforehand or showing a winelist. Would strongly advise people not to go here…

Hotel Mercure Tours Nord room infested with bed bugs During my 2 night stay at Hotel Mercure Tours Nord I received over 50 bites from bedbugs. The hotel later confirmed that my room was infested with bed bugs and asked how they could compensate. After an initial e-mail exchange they have ignored my further e-mail with questions. No compensation was given from Hotel Mercure Tours Nord even though they raised the question initially. In my opinion, really lousy customer care approach from Mercure Tours Nord. Update October 22nd: The hotel informed me (letter sent by their insurance agency) that they would potentially sue me for defamation with a potential penalty of €12 000 if I didn´t remove my comment regarding their cleaning procedures on Google, so I feel that I had to remove it. I´m really not comfortable how they treat me as a customer and react when I give my opinion.

The announced benefits are waiting. Friendly staff, comfortable rooms.
Suitable for families of passage, common areas are large enough to be able to let a little flange to the children.
Restore any to average rate. The breakfast was a bit expensive.

A very negative point is the strong smell of tobacco in the room. For the rest not big thing to say, I saw the best 3 stars. The welcome is friendly and the staff friendly.
