Chateau de Chenonceau, the second most visited Chateau in France is located a 10 minute drive from the property. This is perfect for an afternoon visit after check-in at 4pm.
Our restaurant is open year round serving an à la carte menu, featuring locally sourced produce, as well as being entirely 'fait maison' (homemade) by Matthew, the owner of the bed and breakfast, who is also a professionally trained 'chef de cuisine'.

We had a wonderful stay at Sans Souci. We were welcomed by James who was very kind and friendly. James brought us a welcome drink to enjoy on the terrace. The setting is beautiful and we felt so relaxed. Our room was calm and spacious. We loved the coffee maker and assortment of teas. This seems to be a rarity in France and we were relieved to be able to make a coffee. After a restful sleep we had an impressive breakfast prepared by Matthew who was also very welcoming. The blueberry waffles and the hot breakfast options were great. The setting amongst the sunflower fields is idyllic. We would return in a heartbeat. James and Matthew have created something really special and it was a lovely experience.
