Nice hotel very well located since it is close to the Castle, atypical, picturesque, it is an old Inn of the XVIII renovated, there is a very good restaurant, relaxation rooms, a bar with a cozy atmosphere and an outdoor swimming pool, you can stroll in the Garden and Arbor decorated with roses of all colors… Everything there is the colors, the smells, the calm, the songs of the melodious birds is a real corner of nature and relaxation, there is a private parking closed at night available. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, vintage, the bathroom is spacious, by cons no shower curtain… You have to pay attention also to the few steps that can exist in the room… To discover…

Not gastronomic… Dinner review If your looking for something simple you may still be disappointed. Over 15 minutes before we were seen to for a drink with our menus. Entrecôte was chewy. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Better to go over the street and pay double the price for a quality three course!

To follow… for this day, after eating at the restaurant at night, we are delighted and we have enjoyed, friendliness of the staff who is "Pro" the setting is pretty, the dishes that we have ordered were served in a very good continuity: time to taste them, not really waiting. Small room but still quite nice. Close to the Chateau. One thing that we did not appreciate was when we asked 'Is there free parking at the Chateau' we were looked at like we swore at her! We were answered by the staff member with 'You Americans love to drive, its only 5 minutes walk! ' Considering we are from Australia, her comments were unnecessary and rude, regardless of where we come from. The service in the restaurant was sub standard considering the price you pay, food was quite nice.

Hotel is very well located, 5 minutes all just from the castle of Chennonceau, the room was very clean and the bathroom was visibly redone recently (room 12), the staff is very attentive, there is a parking, free about ten places about a The inside of the hotel and an outdoor pool.

Quite noisy at night but adequate. There rooms were quaint. No shower curtain so we got water everywhere. And it smelled a bit musty. Simple and efficient! Not haute cuisine but very good value! Impassable parking due to mud, first dilapidated room, moulded exterior blinds, yellowed WC glasses, wall sconces, no shower curtains or curtains at the bathroom window. Very badly received at the reception but still changed rooms. The second presents already better but surprise when returning at 9.30 pm, parking full so the car sleep outside at 200 meters, the bed is full of hair, the shower gel and shampoo are started, the corners of the window are moulsty, the furniture Sal… The hotel does not deserve its three stars, hygiene is not even respected, I am very on it, the establishment is to flee.

Worst experience of my life. You can't bring food to the room and if the staff will see that you eat in the room you will pay 90 euro for extra cleaning. Be aware! Restaurant is very expensive but if you not want to pay extra 90 euro you must eat there. The w. C. Exist in the parent room! The hotel is very old, we see many holes in the walls. The breakfast is very poor — you will receive only one croissant per person! We will not go there again.

We had a very good weekend, we were here because the zooparc of Beauval is located 30 minutes from the hotel. The rooms are, for ours in any case "rustic", but at the same time c is consistent with the place and the surrounding area. When staff, quite lovely! We were very very welcome and thank them again for all the attention they got for us and our daughter.

OK it was 13 years ago that my wife and I spent several nights here, using it as a base to explore the Loire. We absolutely loved the place, the room, and the meals. My wife still talks about the Salmon dinner. It was then owned and managed by a cute couple (Sophie and Laurent). We still have a picture taken with Sophie and her little dog.

Well it was 10 years ago when we stayed here with 5 adults and 2 young kids. At that time the people that helped us were the married couple who owned the place. The price was right, the location great for a home base and walking distance to Chenonceau. As I recall the food was great too. The rooms were quaint and all very different. My kids still remember their room that they stayed with their Grandmere. I surely hope that the same couple still own and run the place and hope the negative review was just a fluke. As far as 'terribly old" well yeah it is an older building if you want a chain where all the rooms are the same then don't stay here. If you want charm and something different and would like to help a local business then this is your place, or least was when we stayed there. In the future I would risk staying here again, despite the bad review, just because I was here before and loved it.

One should always be a little suspicious of excessive amounts of glowing reviews. We stayed here one night and the word terrible service comes to mind: Terrible service, Terribly rude staff, Terribly old and out-dated amenities. And the food, Terribly expensive. Avoid Avoid Avoid.
