Excellent address: a nice building, rooms in a very nice, comfortable and well-kept, quality service. I highly recommend this hotel.

Room of the correct size. There were 3 of us and our daughter found her bedding uncomfortable and too small. Do not open the windows if you are not to be inconvenienced by the incessant traffic of cars passing at a crazy speed in this area limited to 30hm/h. It's an old hotel, pretty my faith, so you can also hear the noises from the adjoining rooms.
Nice shower, but without curtain, so you have to "scoop" after the shower. On the other hand, excellent breakfast and very nice staff!

Very quiet location. Close to shopping streets, on a spot at free parking. Nice small room well equipped for a reasonable price.

Very nice. Perfect Home I come to every visit to Ambroise.

They were far friendlier and more accommodating than the pricier Au Charme Rabelaisien. Basic room, nothing fancy, but outstanding location, clean, comfortable.

Small room without elevator, but very cozy and responsible very friendly, quiet place and close to the castle to visit it. If I had to come back I would probably repeat.

Clean and comfortable hotel. Good reception and friendly patrons. The rooms are not gigantic but sufficient. The bathroom with Italian shower is nice.
Very good location in Amboise, as tourist places, restaurants and bars are accessible within a few minutes on foot.

Small but nice hotel. Ideal for 1 night and visit the village (lovely, by the way). No elevator, rooms are tiny.

Historic 16th century building All very tight, far too small rooms (sometimes only 9m2! ) for the money. Furniture partly worn out, constructed shower cabinet with rigid wall puts otherwise beautifully made bathroom underwater, very tight sink without light brings caravan feeling. Loud street in front of the room. Breakfast of the usual French crap per seat pre-portioned, although there were not even plates here to lubricate the packaged jam and the original French processed cheese for €10 — on the pastry.

The Hotel was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only handicap the lack of elevator. Parking affordable private and close to the hotel.

We had a very bad night at this hotel but the worst was the manager's behavior. An alarm started at 1h40 in the morning. No number to contact a manager, we were forced to call the police and firefighters. In the morning when we request a commercial gesture from the manager, he offers us a free coffee by declaring that he cannot be held responsible for the EDF cut which triggered the alarm. More than the bad night is the bad faith of this greedy person who justifies this very bad note. To avoid absolutely!

Very pleasant hotel. Very good location. Super price!

The hotel is very friendly as a whole and this old building knows how to charm us.
However, the hotel has some small stewardship problems such as having only one towel for two or no bath mats.
Breakfast is good and plentiful. And good quality bedding.
I would recommend this property.

Very cosy, perfectly located, room was beautiful, staff was very friendly. The breakfast was worth the price. The room and bathroom were recently renovated and looked great.
