We dropped in late in the evening without reservations looking for a place to spend the night in on our 2 day drive. The staff was very welcoming and lovely and worked very hard to find us a place to eat. We were able to park our car in their hotel parking lot which is being locked at night (perfect if you are planning on leaving the majority of your stuff in the car). Getting two double bedrooms without reservations on a friday night was no problem. The rooms came with free Wi-Fi and TVs and were very spacious. Both the rooms and the bathrooms were very well cleaned. The mattresses were very good as was the view down on the marketplace. The building itself is a very charming French vintage city hotel. There is (as to be expected from an old building) no lift and a narrow staircase. Breakfast was delicious with lots of different foods such as pancakes, croissants and chocolate buns as well as fresh juice, coffee and different marmelades. We definitely recommend it and are thinking about returning there for our next vacation.
