A good hotel for what it is. Motel style accommodation. Small but functional rooms with a desk, TV, Wi-Fi and enough space to hang clothes and store baggage. Neat and clean, although some wear and tear and the occasional old stain remind you you are in a cheap hotel. The bathroom is basic but practical, with convenient places to hang towels and leave your toiletries, floor towel and hair&body wash are provided — however, if you have a fuller figure you may struggle to fit in the shower cubicle (for a size S person it felt pretty claustrophobic). Parking is free and there's plenty of it. Check-in is open 24/7 — there is a machine for self-checking for the night hours; in our case, the machine didn't work, but there was a person at the desk to check us in instead. All locks work with a code which you receive when you check in, so you don't need any keys or cards — just your code. Breakfast is super simple (can be added to your booking for 6 EUR per person) — coffee, a selection of teas, juice, croissants, bread, butter, jam, bacon, scrambled eggs, yoghurt, milk and cereal. Quite a number of other hotels, some bars, restaurants and shops around, within walking distance — apparently, an ice rink and a go-carting track too. All perfectly sufficient for a night's stay on the way to somewhere else.

Hotel manager very friendly and helpful. It is the same for the other members of the staff. Varied choice at breakfast. The room was clean and made up properly every day. Nothing to complain about!

Broken Automation: we prebooked a room via their website (as we have done with other B&B's earlier) but when we arrived at about 14:00 the check-in machine refused to accept either my or my wife's Visa card. It recognized our reservation code, but never accepted the credit cards. The help button dialed to a central answering machine with an endless loop but not to an operator who might have been able to help. So we had the option to either wait in the car until 17:00 when on-site staff would arrive or cancel our reservation. We chose the later option and looked for alternatives in the region. If we had either booked the non-refundable rate or arrived in the evening after staff had left again and cancellation time was over, we would have been screwed.

After contacting your hotel customer service to try to cancel our resevation due to my husband's unexpected extreme poor health, I was told to send proof of his inability to travel. A doctor's letter was provided to you which was sent via my daughter as the situation we have found ourselves in is extremely upsetting and painful for me and my family. This letter was not acknowledged and an email asking my terminally ill husband to rate his stay was sent. I find this insensitive and have found your customer service lacking in personability. I suggest that you review your customer service and that if you ask customers to go to the trouble of asking a doctor for a letter that you actually act upon this as your lack of attention to this matter has proved to cause more irritation to an already very sensitive and emotional situation.

Really all was good, the only thing really to be careful about is the short check in window, it worked well for me, but well could be times someone coluld not check in before the desk was closed. For a non-French speaker, someone not used to systems here it could be serious problem, why I might not reccomend to family or friends.

Hotel very good, pity that on the weekend the breakfast is at 7: 30 am and not earlier especially in the holiday period of February. Because I booked the breakfast without having taken, as we are a party at 6: 15 in the morning to avoid the traffic jams on the road.

Report quality price is correct for one step on a long journey. The family room is rather spacious but bathroom — toilet tiny. If the opportunity presents itself, I will return.

It's at least the fourth time I've come to this hotel and it's always the same thing! Housekeepers spend between 9:30/10:00 in the rooms, I find it unacceptable to wake people up when entering their room, even with the little paper put behind the door "do Not Disturb". I come often because I like this hotel and I tell myself that it will change! No, it doesn't change! Stay to change Hotel!

Very good nickel room. We slept well.
Nearby Restaurants on foot. And direct to the highway exit.

Room very clean and new when we went. Practical bathroom. Rich breakfast served in a bright room.

Excellent Value for money! With a very helpful and attentive staff! Large bed with good bedding appreciated as well as breakfast very plentiful…

Perfect stay thanks to qualified and professional staff! I stayed 3 weeks on Auxerre, I was able to test the B&B Monéteau from opposite it was the catastrophe, dirty, smell in the room of Moisie, unpleasant staff, awful stay! Fortunately there are still professionals who love their jobs like the BB Burgundy!

Hotel own friendly staff many accessories like hair dryer warmer bottles… are available against an ID card. Spacious room with air conditioning and individual heating, coffee vending machines and confectionery available h24. There are many restaurants and shopping centres in the vicinity of the hotel.

Clean hotel. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The room for a family of 4 people is perfect and justifies the price.
The breakfast remains worthy of a B&B hotel.

Lovely and clean, very good for stopover. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Not luxurious, but good for stopover. There is parking and breakfast at additional 6 Euro. Recommended.

Convenient for one night, attractive prices, Auto check in, free parking, good Wi-Fi. The staff at the hotel were very friendly.
On the other hand, the cleanliness is average, there was hair in the shower and the carpet was room. Moreover there was only one towel while we had indicated to be 2 in the room. Finally the breakfast is sketchy.

It is an excellent hotel on the way to Burgundy, very clean and very comfortable bed… a little expensive to be on the way, but much better than other road hotels I've ever met.

We had a very good night, the rooms are pretty and very clean, the reception is great, if you have to go through Auxerre we will surely stop overnight!

Nice and quiet room. Side of the house clean bathroom to be revisited. A blow on the tiles would be cleaner.

Wow this is so much better than Formule 1. Proper beds, clean, efficient, ideal for a one night stopiver.

Arrived in the middle of the night after a wedding we were able to spend a short night in this hotel which has everything that was asked of him for this award : a small bedroom comfortable, bathroom clean and a bit of peace and quiet. A pity that the room service we had woken up at 10am on a Sunday, we have not slept much and have yet to take the road…

At 35 degrees outside temperature, our room was perfectly cooled to 18 degrees. Climate Top. Location, 5 km from the historic city centre in Auxerre. Shopping market around the corner, if needed. China restaurant in walking distance 5 min. For a break or night.
