Well equipped port, equipped with convenient parking, guarded on request for customers of the company "Le Boat". Very close there is a supermarket, the town Decize is interesting and is about 1 km from the port. There is also a restaurant and a resort with bungalows.

Very well positioned near the quaint town of Decize with good canal and river access; also 2.5 kms to main SNCF train station. Unfortunately taxis don't consider 2.5 kms a long enough journey and won't pick up so we asked the lovely assistant manageress Pauline to ferry 3 couples to the station on 2 separate days which she gladly did. She also speaks wonderful English, is a delight to deal with and is an excellent ambassador for her company! Merci Pauline! Our friends canal boat was moored there two days at 10 euro per night for water + elec. Chef needs to learn how to cook Paella and they need to spray the recycling bins to keep wasps away but otherwise, clean, affordable and friendly. Viva la Port de Decize France. Mick and Di Perth Australia ps also big supermarket 5 mins walk behind hospital. Ps and they are people of their word; two weed/algae cleaners in place; we are not owners and do not have vested interests but purely grateful for good people and good service!

Very good location, comfortable and well equipped room, very nice Harbour view, safe and accessible local bike.

Started our barge trip from the marina. Quiet and safe marina. Gites available. Restaurant offering range of choices, including vegetarian. Shared male/female shower and toilets. Clean, accessible by fob for 15 euro a night, including a berth. Access to a washer/dryer for 10 Euros, by token available at the Capitanaire office. Office open 9am-12, 1.30pm to 7pm 7 days a week. French and English spoken. Walking distance to town… lovely old, fortified town with walking historical route to follow. Market held on Saturday in town. Intermarche supermarket across the road from the port.

Small port between the Loire and the Canal de la Loire, on the Quai CE is a hotel and gites, a charming place for a small visit in the vicinity. A restaurant where on the map you can find a vegetarian menu, certe in prepared dishes but this menu exists, so you have to encourage the staff. For non vegetarian The choice is wider and I think you will not be disappointed either.

Very nice place, very decent price, space perfectly arranged, view on the boats, very friendly staff and good advice. Many walks, everything is very clean and well maintained. Decize is a place to discover. We love it and we'll come back.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very clean.

The staff were friendly and helpful and resteraunt good but port filled with weed and algae. Coukd not get to diesel berth as thick weed and algae in the area. You could possibly walk on it! I did not get diesel and probably a good thing as it probably was old and therefore has diesel bug. By the density of weed and algae I doubt if anyone has taken diesel in a year. 3 years ago if was a great port. Now has really gone downhill. Cleaned the raw water intake 5 times before I gave up and exited on idle and sorted it out on the canal.

Not bad! The service is quality. The dishes are good but in smaller quantities in the menu at 37 and €26. The bread should be changed because it spoiled a little partying. Small details leaves to be desired. The framework is still pretty!

We arrived on this restaurant a little by chance and we had a very good time. The place is nice, the terrace, the dishes are simple but very well cooked, the cheeses are a treat, just wine. The attentive staff is committed to always improve the quality of delivery of its establishment! ONLY DOWNSIDE: The bread of a very poor taste value: what a pity! This little hiccup this place would be almost perfect!

Open the after noon during the summer for a drink… ice cream…
