I have stayed 3 times at this hotel and each time it was a pleasure.
The rooms are sublime.
All the staff I met have always been hyper pro, smiling, welcoming and friendly.
I hope to one day stay there again.

Nicely arranged and decorated with helpful and polite staff. Not cheap, but worth the price. Nice location in the centre of Besançon.

The hotel rooms are ok. They don’t change the sheets everyday, maybe they are too ecological. The breakfast was ok. Nothing out of the usual in the region. The attendees were very nice and the hotel location is excellent.

After booking the "prestige double room, " we arrived to a large, fairly unmistakeable semen stain on the room's front couch. After talking to the front desk in person, they mumbled something about a potential free breakfast and apologized. Any decent hotel would have sent someone up to try to clean it or remove the sofa immediately. They did not send anyone up to the room to attempt to clean the stain until nearly 24 hours later. Unacceptable. On Day 2, we hung the "please do not disturb" sign on our door, which the staff ignored. After making up our room despite the sign, they left our room door open, which requires manual closing, leaving us to search our bags to make sure nothing of value was stolen. Very amateurish errors. Not a pleasant stay and would not recommend to anyone.

Nice cosy place, clean and spacious room. Staff welcoming, always smiling, and willing to help. A memorable stay!

Small room but comfortable bedding. Silence on the part of the court orientation. Location in Perfect center. Attention: Old building so unconvincing soundproofing.
Breakfast with some quality products (homemade pastries, delicious compotes, etc. )
To recommend for that is not bothered by the hallway noises…

Very nice hotel and very quiet. The only problem was a reservation hassle with the hotel parking. Finally we found a place in a parking lot nearby (2 minutes walk from the hotel).

Nice place, cost to take into account, breakfast very good, hearty. Good location.

Very good atmosphere, comfortable, breakfast at the top… we love to stay there as soon as we are on the road to Besançon!

The top of the top very nice hotel with a lot of charm and staff are just beautiful quiet resting in the center of Besançon is really the top I will return with the greatest pleasures.

The hotel is spotless and the staff friendly.
I however had a windowless room if not those of the door, which directly overlooks the inner courtyard. Shame to have to choose between intimacy and brightness.

Was there for a professional event, and was very much pleased! The staff was very correct and I had a very decent experience in Hotêl de Paris!

We will definitely revisit this hotel. Great location with parking (paid, but worth it). Lovely staff, spotless and sympathetic contemporary decor for an old building — the website doesn't do it justice.

Loved this hotel in the old city. Rooms are not very big but they are renovated and clean. The breakfast is wonderful with many options encluding eggs and bacon. Also provided a coffee / hot chocolate machine and a Nesspreso machine. Wifi was a bit slow but good enough for mails and stuff. If you travel to or through Becenson and looking for a good hotel in the old city this one is highly recommended!

Beautiful spot in middle of Besancon, France. The rooms are spacious and beautiful decor.

Very welcoming, breakfast is rather rich. Very well. My only regret is that no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.

I chose this hotel for my visit to Besancon based on the review by the previous German visitor and I wasn't disappointed. The hotel is well situated in the heart of the city and handy to most of the major attractions within walking distance. The hotel description is accurate, though a slight distraction on the first floor passage may give a wrong impression due to a flooding accident that has stained the carpet. I have nothing but praise for the help I had from the receptionist's recommendations for restaurants which made for enjoyable evening dining. For anyone attending an event at the Micropolis Exhibition Center the Tram is but a 5 min walk from the hotel. If I have the opportunity to return to Besancon this is the place I'll stay. The map I feel is incorrect and should actually show the entrance from Rue des Granges as the entrance from Rue de la Republique is for cars and not easy to spot on Google street view.

Great hotel, located on the peninsula of Besançon. Very nice large room. Attentive reception, unfortunately without german knowledge.
No German TV program. Frantic lady who served the breakfast. Quality of the breakfast very good.
Otherwise highly recommended.

An oasis in a sea of mediocre hotels. Beautful rooms, beautiful hotel, plus parking onsite? Very rare for a centrally located hotel. 9/10.
