In the middle of the containment period, I had a personalized EXCEPTIONAL welcome, a meal tray and an EXCELLENTS breakfast tray. It's really nice to be welcomed in these conditions vs Novotels not up to scratch

With my husband we ate yesterday evening for Valentine's day. Very good reception, well-advised level of drinking. The menu was excellent and refined. Compliments to the chef.

We love gastronomy, which is why we come to dinner regularly at the Auberge Bretonne. A creative cuisine, full of flavors expertly met by the chef, very pro service without frills. Wine list, diverse, worked and original. Merit largely 1 star. We do not understand why it is not yet attributed to this beautiful table!

Outstanding small hotel with grand feel. Room Breakfast and service all very good: but dinner was delicious and not to be missed in a conservatory dining room with exquisite service. We also stayed at another hotel here and it was just ok: the Auberge won by a mile!

Very good, 90 euros 30m2 room with beautiful bathroom and ideal sunshine at the end of the day. Be careful to greet everyone in the same way, tourist or not. The breakfast must also be at the height of the restaurant's menu, until the last served at 9.30 am-10h (pastries). For the rest, one of the best addresses I could test, I would have put 4, 7 or 4, 8 but this is not possible.

Good address, even on the menu first price "small pleasure" at 19, 50 euros, with a dish and a dessert. Nice room for lunch. Living room to have coffee. Neat Service.

This is indeed a beautiful hotel in a beautiful small town in Brittany. We had a warm greeting from Mme Gauchet who was a wonderful host, & were shown to a large, light room overlooking the courtyard herb garden — very clean & very comfortable with lovely antique furniture. Our meal in the evening at their restaurant — Mr Gauchet is an amazing chef — was the best we have experienced in France… a fine dining experience we will always remember. We will definitely be returning to this wonderful hotel — full of charm & character — and would recommend both the hotel and restaurant to anyone. Huge disappointment!
The reception was non-existent. More time spent on the telephone reception for the reservation of a hotel room than for the guests of the restaurant. If the phone conversation had duration 10 minutes more We would have all taken root 10 minutes more in the reception.
Once the telephone conversation is over we are asked directly if we are there for the Milk pig (which is offered only on Thursdays) what is answered yes (without thinking that it would be imposed on all our table of 5 people).
Following this we are taken to our table which is installed well away from the other customers of the restaurant, obviously we distinguish very clearly the two, those came only for the card and those who wish the pig of milk…? What for? Afraid we'll see the other plates? Or that the other tables see ours?
At no time we are offered the card, nor even the announcement of the formula and the price of the pig of milk. We are told that to have the pig of milk it is necessary that all the table take it!? Weird! So it is expected to have something relatively imposing to demand the same choice of all table. We are offered to choose 2 accompaniments: "Homemade" or "couscous vegetables", very medium as choice! The price 19 €/person.
With which we order 3 glasses of organic apple juice, 1 large bottle of flat water and a jug of wine, because they do not offer cider in the Auberge Breton, as much for us.

A stop on the road back to Anjou, and the discovery of this nice restaurant and with excellent cuisine. A welcome worthy of the name.

Unacceptable for a restaurant side! Nothing to do with the former owner and its 2 stars: minimalist home, cold atmosphere without decoration, minimum service no smile must claim to be serving drinks (the bottle is 3 m of the table), dishes dismal without presentation worthy of the name, overcooked, too dry, too little, nor end, nor delicate, in short a very banal and poorly cooked food. This restaurant worth the detour, but then very wide, the detours. Only the note suggests that it was a great restaurant! In what concerns me: "never again! ".

A little sad décor and high price. See if the new owners are coming to reinvent an image.
