Very charming biker relay hotel, nice and comfortable room with seen on the beautiful lake, the meal is divinely excellent, the perfect breakfast, the patrons are nice and attentive as the staff of their hotel, I recommend 100% and the price and very justify and not excessive.

The rooms, I don't know, but as a restaurant, it's the top. Quality, service and in addition the humor of the bosses. No, in Combourg, it's the top of the top. And in the region too. And let's not talk about value for money… You can treat yourself with your eyes closed!

Hotel with great value, very well located by the lake, in front of the castle and close to the coast to visit.
We were on a motorcycle, and were very well received in this Motorcycle relay with garage for our bikes. The managers are a couple of very nice bikers and the restaurant of their hotel is really to discover!

Shabby rooms, dingy corridors, dodgy plumbing. We only stayed two nights, the second of which we were unable to shower or even clean our teeth owing to a leak that affected most of the hotel. Not their fault you could argue but the manageress didn’t even offer an apology. When we expressed our disappointment she _very_ begrudgingly took 10% off our bill. Think French Faulty Towers and you’re not far off.

The most for this period hotel, first of all for the location, on the side of a pond, with the frontage overlooking the square dedicated with statue in Chataubriand, on the right the Chatau where Renè Chataubriand himself lived (contemporary of Leopardi). All of a lovely romantic beauty, in the village of Combourg, a delightful village with its Gothic church, a short walk from St. Malò and Dinan and Rennes. Vintage hotel, rooms the consequence, but the view prevails over everything. However also a great Wi-Fi.

I highly recommend this hotel, so admittedly the rooms are a bit tired, but the bed remains very comfortable, and then there is no need for more!
The welcome is family friendly and so pleasant.

Really a great hotel restaurant overlooking the lake one of the best tables in the area. The owner Super Professional friendly and in addition with the smile this becomes rare. The cleanliness of the nickel restaurant. Congratulations again for the chef for his cooking really a great culinary moment. Especially do not change anything. And the Little plus free parking.

Charming hotel in a picturesque location between the lake and chateaux. Hotel rooms interiors are dated.

Very accommodateing for tourists. I found the staff very friendly and happy with the exception of the lady on serving breakfast. I'd give the Hotel Du Lac a soild 9/10.

The service is horrible, the interest director of hotel is only the money of client, she did not care the need of client! I forgot my thermometer (bluetooth) in the hotel, I have a lot of data in it. I need to show the data in this thermometer to the medecin in China BECAUSE I AM ILL. I really need it! I have telephoned 3 times to ask her to send it to me by the post office and I will pay the money of delivery and I told her the date that I leave france for China. But she still sent the thermometer so late! I did not get my thermometer before I took my flight! She said that she had so much work. But she has several peoples work for her and the post office is only 300 m away from the hotel. And she has 3 weeks to send it to me and I got nothing finally! She treats the client so badly, I am very disappointed. I passed 2 or 3 days each year for 3 years in her's hotel. She knows it and yet she found a lot of reasons not to send me the thermometer. She is a so bad woman! I really don't recommend this hotel!

Very basic room and little cured from the hygienic point of view, change of tablecloths non existent during the three days of stay, staff of restaurant room efficient and courteous, rude property…

Family stay on 9 and 10 April 2016. Very warm in a great setting. Very comfortable rooms with lake view. Fine cuisine. Thanks to the head, and the delicate attention of our hostess during the birthday of our fiftieth anniversary dinner.
