Wonderful hotel and facilities great. Large outdoor pool and also an indoor pool. Ample parking outside to accommodate people with roof boxes.

Always so good! This is the 3rd time we go to Lyon Metropole and always with the same pleasure. The service is excellent, a special thank you to Stéphane at the bar for modifying the cocktailreception. The room with balcony on the top floor is just awesome, the extra to pay is deserved. The outdoor pool and hot water baths are really nice and that's one of the reasons we come back, it's well maintained and friendly with space for all. We also tested the restaurant, the dishes are of a good standard, at a fairly high price but the outside environment is well worth it. We will definitely return.

This hotel is far enough away from local attractions, but offers fitness as compensation. And it's worth it. If you do not bring your swimming supplies, you can buy them there, in the shop by the closed pool. There are two gyms, there are tennis courts indoors and outdoors. In the pool on the street the water in my opinion is cold, in the pool under the roof is what is needed. There's also a small hot tub. There are saunas: separately women's and men's, and Turkish bath. Most of the time we spent in the third pool. He is also on the street, but you can get into it only through the pool under the roof. The water in it is very warm, you can just go in a circle along the stream, it is swirling clockwise, and you can wrap in turn in "the bays" on the right and left adrift. At the entrance to each there is a button with a picture, which parts of the body is designed for its whirlpool. They are mainly designed for two people. There are standing, sedentary and one lying. It helps to recover very well after a tiring day. The room has a sign that the robe slippers and towels — for the convenience of taking SPA treatments (and ask not to take them home, to slippers this does not apply). Right in this robe you go down on the elevator to the floor with button 2, go along the arrow along the corridor to another elevator, and go down on it.

Great hotel, very nice spa, saunas and pools, good restaurant. Nice, clean rooms. Location is OK, view to the river is nice although the road alongside it is quite busy.

The Lyon Métropole hotel is really good.
I stayed there for two nights during a seminar.
The sports facilities are impressive: a 50m outdoor pool, a 25m indoor pool, Spa, indoor and outdoor tennis courts…
We had a room in the "Annex" building, but very good quality.
Small downside: water flow problem in the morning when everyone gets up.

Very nice hotel, especially for its outdoor and indoor pools and its SPA, perhaps a bit far from the center. Our room was a little ageing but clean and quiet. The staff is lovely. We will definitely return.

Very nice complex with a very professional and welcoming staff. Infrastructure at the top. On the other hand, room overlooking the noisy quays (lots of traffic) despite the double glazing. The Wi-Fi, Certe free, but totally inefficient on the side of the apartment building.
For the price of breakfast, one could expect a wider choice of products and craftsmanship. Unfortunately it is worthy of that of classic hotel chains.
But let's stay on the positive point: the quality of the staff.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lyon Métropole. However, I was disappointed with the size of the room because previously I had a wider room.
Also we had a terrace overlooking the Saône. But we could not see, as there was the roof and the flags of the establishment that kept us from seeing the view.
The spa was a great time of fun and relaxation.
The restaurant we enjoyed the service and sympathy of the team.
Overall we were very satisfied. I would recommend the establishment!

Excellent personnel and very good services, Good accommodations specially the bigger rooms, easy to get to the Center (5KM), restaurant with good food and presentation. Nice gym. Very good choice in terms of price/quality ratio.

Hotel facing the Saône. Very nice view. The hotel is in two parts, part hotel and part in apartment. The apartments are spacious. Breakfast is complete with sweet, salty, cereals, bread, yoghurt, dry fruit… Too bad the breakfast room next to the apartment is so small and so noisy. Staff very friendly and very helpful.

A very lovely place, a very nice room, apart from the heating level. Spa Services Unfortunately that close too early in the evening… disappointing catering service for a 4 star (very greasy dish, wine too cold and not exceptional at all, as well as a very long service…) Room service and very satisfying reception.

Hotel class, sober and quiet. Access to the Balneotherapy Center is great. Mention + + for the heated outdoor pool.

The staff and the reception is very nice.
Negative Point: The aesthetic aspect gives a heavy sensation by the dark and ageing colour of the carpet.
This sad carpet is also present in the room which is in contrast to the more modern furniture. The bathroom enjoyed a modernization but the toilet area stayed in another age! (Chipped toilet, flushing (zipper type) from another time.
The absence of a mini-bar follows a responsible approach in order to avoid the waste due to the expiration dates of the bottles. (If the high cost of these products was revised downwards, consumption would be more obvious and the waste avoided)
The use of the elevator is very complicated. Indeed, it is impossible to have the possibility to use it to join the reception. After 10 minutes of waiting, we were able to use the stairs (in works) to get down the 6 floors!
Positive: The bedding is very good bill, the sensation and the presentation of the sleeping are very appreciable.
The greeting left on the desk with macaroons made their effects as well as water bottles and hot drinks (tea, coffee).
In conclusions: The 4 stars does not seem to me justified.

Still a very good time spent in this romantic place. Reception and maintenance staff of the premises, irreproachable.
Just a suggestion for the sauna leave them mixed. And the lights on the switches in the rooms, but we're on the detail!
We will come back and recommend this place.

Great food, room are outdated.

Clean, spacious spa area, rich breakfast with quality products (eggs, smoked salmon, charcuterie, homemade cakes, … In addition to traditional products). Staff at the reception very pro. Just disappointed by the desserts at the restaurant that are not up to the dishes. Easy access from the city center by bus even on Sundays. I recommend!

Very good but 2 problems: — The SPA course must be reviewed! Lots of jets that don't work anymore. The outdoor spa course loses all its interest. The problem has been going on for months. After a self-closing so-called renovation in November 2017, nothing has changed.
— Very basic and impersonal reception and no reception at breakfast. Not a hello, not a smile from any staff member.

A magical place, everything is clean, the staff is impeccable, the breakfast and excellent, the restaurant perfect (desserts are exquisite), the bartender is at the top. Everything is perfectly apart from the outdoor SPA that starts to have some weaknesses…

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The outdoor spa area with its massage baths in a 36 ° water is very pleasant in winters.

Superb establishment! The Lyon Métropole Hotel is rated 4 stars. As such, it offers a range of leading services: Porter, valet, concierge, housekeeper and above all rooms of great comfort. Besides these undeniable qualities, the site has a well-being and sports area that have made the fame of the place. Inevitable!

Perfect to escape from Lyon the time of a weekend in Love. We relax in the outdoor water course, including in November as the water is heated there.
Everything was included in the package: sauna, hammam, remou bath, Outdoor Water course.
We had chosen to include dinner, it was good without being extraordinary. A little disappointed that the 2 glasses of wines included in the offer only turn into one drink without alcohol.
Nice room with bathrobe and slippers Provided. A beautiful view of the Saône to decorate the Whole.
Note: The hammam is not mixed, there is one for women and one for Men.

We stayed one night in the establishment, and the service was superb, from the reception we were booked to when we arrived until we left. The services offered (spa, Gym) are of very good quality, The breakfast offers a variety of excellent products, the bar map is original, and finally, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Great beautiful, clean classical hotel Only minus fitness and swimming pool only open in working hours and breakfast not veganfriendly at all.

Beautiful view of the water from the hotel. There's a pleasant path to walk on along the water which makes for a romantic activity. The hotel has multiple water activities for both kids and adults. I didn't check the restaurant out but the food at the bar was so good that I can imagine the restaurant also serving tasty meals.

Luxury Hotel Although located in the suburbs. Breakfast is possible at 20 euro and person.

Stayed the weekend for the European rugby finals. Close to Le Tonkin tram station.

Hotel mixed appearance, but with an interior worthy of 4 stars. Very nice, quality restaurants, fabulous pools. Rooms 'apartment' well equipped with view extensive on the Saône. A success.

My opinion is shared for this jewel aging Lyon hotel which offers a contrast of luxury in an atmosphere of cheap holiday village…
It was a trip in the 1980s for our retro equipment room. The shelves of bed with analog radio broadcast in the room and the bathroom where the basins, the ultimate in old-world luxury, offer to the skeptical look their SOAP dishes engraved in the mass of the granite rose.
A four star no doubt would have regard to the sumptuous hotel facilities. Do not miss the Olympic pool and above all the fantastic Spa outside.

Thanks to all the team for this lovely that we spent at the Hotel Lyon Metropole in March 2014 (we arrived March 08).
We came as a family to celebrate my birthday and enjoy the scene. This will remain an unforgettable memory: warm and professional staff, hosting high-end with a very spacious apartment and terrace of dream with a view of the Saône, kitchen gourmet at the superb restaurant and good dishes at the brasserie without forgetting the pool, jacuzzi, and especially the course of hydromassages open-air while our grandson was the gym and the play & learn safely with a lovely team.
We travel a lot and can make the comparison. This hotel deserves 5 stars.

Compared to my expectations, it's been a great disappointment.
The largest b — mol: twice I called the hotel before I go there to make sure that all the SPA facilities were available to all my family, including my children. Both times, the people answering me has certified me. Once on site, I learned that facilities of great interest such as the course of hydromassages and sauna/hammam were prohibited to children. Especially to the great regret of my 8 year old daughter who I had shown this facility and who are already familiar with other spas. It was limited to an indoor pool whose water temperature was only 22 degrees the day of our presence due to "intervention of a technician" in the morning, and jacuzzi, where she could sadly watching those who were playing in the background — must say great — outdoors. But the negative points of the course, some of the jets were down — and by the time the course was overloaded.
The location of the sauna/hammam was outside the Park, he had to cross a corridor of cold current of air to get there. The sauna was very warm when I went, but the steam room was very nice instead.
Finally, still a false announcement on the part of the reception — they announced on the phone it would be the regular working time at the SPA for the eve of the new year — gold, hours were reduced to even worse than the weekends!

3rd times as j'm going home, I liked the outdoor gym and spa area.
I do not know the restaurant but the rooms are spacious and clean.
A little far from the Center.

Great place, the SPA is beautiful and not crowded. Hydrojet under the July sun is a real happiness.
Treat yourself to a massage, simply wonderful.
