Not really 5 star. 4 is really the best. Most unfriendly staff. It is like they hide for you and if you ask a question you are in real trouble… Expensive place. To end with a positieve note: roof top bar is really nice.

Didn't really like the design.

Making rooms and tables in the fresh air is not very.

Great location on the river in the centre. 3 min walk from metro station. Nice welcome from receptionist actually coming out from behind reception to give me the key and show me the lift. Nice room, Hermes shampoo :-). Free minibar. Lots of nice touches. Excellent breakfast on the top floor with a view.

Unaccommodating direction for a cancellation of 2 nights even in a case of force majeure (cancellation of plane to come from abroad). Too bad, when you have a loyalty card. Human-dimension customer service is lost in strict management procedures and rules. I'll avoid this hotel in the future.

We just wanted to have a drink before going to dinner at another restaurant to enjoy a nice view. It was a very successful time. We managed after a few minutes of waiting to settle in front of the windows. A romantic moment in a subdued, quiet atmosphere. Certainly expensive but succulent cocktails! I had a chocolate mint cocktail with a real piece of dark chocolate. A delight. Accompanied by some olives, toasted rolls and tapenades offered. Plus the staff is very nice. I recommend!

Best in hotel is view from restaurant in top floor. Internet connection is worst.

I am very disappointed with the quality of this Sofitel. The reception of a 5 * non-existent. You can sit for hours on terraces (next to the bar) without paying attention to yourself, without being greeted, or being offered the map. Unless the terrace is crowded. You have to look at the crooked staff to take care of you. This is not quality 5 * sorry. Very much the hotel God for my passages Lyonnais.

Nice hotel although it could do with being updated, staff were excellent and courteous. Only negative for me was the bed being too close to the closet, making it difficult to get in there. Otherwise I loved it!

Good rooms, central location, friendly service.

Reserved table, arrived with 5 minutes late The Butler had already given our table despite our numerous attempts to call in order to prevent this slight delay but no one was picking up. Very disappointed with the welcome for this kind of restaurant. To be disadvised!

Nice accommodations but during this last stay the temperature control didn't work in my room keeping it a baumy 25C.

Room was outdated but large. Nice hermes bath products provided. Pay per view movie choices were very poor and old. Spa area is a little underwhelming. We had a massage and it was very mediocre. Breakfast was nice but expensive for what it was. Location was good and staff helpful.

Warm, spacious room, gourmet and rich breakfast, with a nice view of the Rhone and the surroundings of the 8th floor. By cons 3rd elevator down and the card system to go up in the rooms is to be reviewed. Waited more than 10 minutes to be able to access the elevator… not top if one is in a hurry: (

The location was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were told that it was not included in the breakfast and as we had a mess with both hotel, we did not argue, but it was all so well, that I don't want to take away any star, the Hamman Great and the room awesome.

First visit after from years I find the reception very well organized and the staff in accordance a special note for the outdoor heated lounge.

Hotel rooms are very old. Breakfast restaurant has nice view but poor choices. Front office team are friendly and hospitable.

Extremely friendly and professional front office staff. Perfect location to explore Lyon. Rooms show little signs of wear nevertheless the beds are one of the best in the industry. I would stay here again.

I can not believe this hotel is 5star. Poor old hotel and poor customer service. I am accor platinum member. This hotel is one of the worst Accor hotel in my life.

Our room overlooked the Rhone. Lunch in Silks restaurant was excellent. Staff we're we're all efficient & attentive. Only 5 mins walk to place Bellecour 15 mins to Old Town.

Not even 3 star. Stained carpets and aweful service; for example 200 euro room service is served by man speaking on his mobile phone and does not bother even to set up the table.

-No Wifi access when you're sitting next to the bed, only between the bathroom and the bedroom door. Staff confirmed this to us?
-Impossible to be sitting on the toilet normally without legs stuck in the bathtub.
-Variations of the t ° c water when taking a shower, going from cold to hot! It is sure that the shower in the morning will wake you up!
-Breakfast (industrial pastry) with better than average service (orange juice and coffee spilled during the service. )
-Parking at the prohibitive price (there is a parking at 5 min walk)
In short my wife and I were very disappointed of this hotel has nothing of "luxury".

Arrival at 21:30 on Saturday for the Easter weekend, weekend getaway planned
room at the 5etage with view. On a building, clean room with carpet mustard more than past and not very clean (dust more than apparent), free DTT TV but internet access Wi — Fi and movie paying € 25, underground parking. Little surprise! car question has 21:30 and exit the next day at 10:00 the morning: total € 57! 2nd s night came out for my titine, huh
price of the room € 165 per night. Without breakfast. Well Yes, € 26 if you are hungry so we eat has the outside, s it you please, for that price. Access to the spa and the gym paying. In short. Weekend of shit into perspective, fortunately as there are nice places to visit, because the hotel, we n will return more. Ah! Yes! j've forgotten (pump money) tourist tax supplement. A pay starting. Well Yes! long live france, huh;).

We visit the Hotel Sofitel Bellecour * ever since over 10 years, that is service accreditation (up on tiny smears), the newly renovated rooms (necessarily book demand) offer a very high level of comfort, the breakfast is exquisite, the restaurants (Brasserie or Trois Dômes) are excellent. Also the bars invite you to the "sagging". The location of the hotel is in the Centre, very good integration of traffic very cheap – immediately.
