Beautiful old building in Lyon, not masses of places to eat near by but the hotel serves us one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. There is a railway station behind the hotel but couldn’t even hear it!

I have reserved this hotel but they won’t let me go to toilette before checking in. What a considerable service they offer. So I left directly go back to the train station. And cancelled my reservation.

I was there for 3 nights while I was in Lyon for work. The Hotel is in a quiet location, easy to reach and is very well connected with the rest of the city. Very comfortable clean and well-maintained rooms, great breakfast. I have been very well and I can recommend it.

Good experience for a two-day stay, good soundproofing, we will appreciate the possibility of having access to the hotel parking lot. The little extra that you can't find everywhere; the praline brioche at the breakfast buffet. It's a delight.

I stayed here for a short business trip. Very efficient and kind service. Large rooms and comfortable beds. Plenty of buffet at breakfast. Only flaw: I had to wait 2 hours after the scheduled check-in time; no problem, it can happen anywhere.

Wonderful staff and rooms were clean. We had a beautiful view of city. Unfortunately bed and pillows in double room were not that comfy. It suited us well as we were in for a night and out the next day however more of a pain to get to the city as you must pass through the train station or walk awkward way around.

The size and cleanliness of the rooms, the friendliness of the staff at the reception and the bar are of quality. The small downside concerns the aging of the frames and windows. The comfort of the bedding and the bathroom are to be noted, for our room of course. Kind regards.

A disappointing experience. The rooms are small, not very well maintained, the housekeeping is made to go fast, the bedding is average. The staff are attentive and available.

I could only try the bar but the experience is top.
The staff is super friendly and for one allows some liberties with the guests.
It comes out a bit of the formal and austere setting of the hotels of this type.
If you have a few hours to kill I recommend.

Magnificent. Has been remodeled and adapted to meet the needs of travelers and locals. Great Wi-Fi, good security and protection.

Very surprising setting. If the immediate environment is not folichon, the building is a purer and flamboyant art nouveau style. Inside (bar, restaurant, reception) : tree woodwork, stained glass windows with crazy arabesques on the ceiling and Impressionist frescoes. The originality is lost a little in the floors (room), more classic. The view on the station side passes, but the one on the parking side is a bit sad, the only fault of the place, to the rigor.

I paid €150 at night and when asked for a room that corresponds to my reservation he asked me €50 more.
I stayed in my room: dark little window with Highway view.
Bedding looks like a concrete slab.
The only thing possitive is cleanliness.
I'll recommend another hotel.
There are several hotels just 100 meters on the Carnot square.

The beds are so ultra comfortable. I slept like a baby. The rooms are very clean and the staff very attentive and friendly.
The breakfast was also delicious and especially gabs a lot of choice.
The only thing that was awful, but since the hotel can do nothing for, is the water there. There's so much lime! Our shampoo just didn't want to froth and after the shower my hair was so "tough" and dry. Never had such a thing.

Here in training spread over several sessions. Free fall benefit. Breakfast style deflate overcooked. Dry fish. Lunch soup. And vegetable style bowl of poorly cooked rice or vegetable patty defrosted toothless.

Classic building with modern service. Central location with good public transportation connections. Room in 5th floor had nice view over the city.

Like most hotels in France, when it comes to weird this one is no exception! It's not in a bad way just the room layouts were made by a drunken architect. Really great experience! Hotel is on par with cleanliness and food quality.

The room "privilege" is spacious, quiet with good equipment (tv large format, fridge, coffee maker, …) especially the bedding of very good Quality. The hotel is close to the train station and the subway Station. The closed parking lot makes it easy to Park.

I'm here for a seminar. The setting is Beautiful: ceiling paintings, moulding, carpeting… The staff are very pleasant. A very good time.

Despite a rather chaotic place, this Hotel ESTs very welcoming. The "old" rooms are however very comfortable. The gym is very correct. Do not miss the bar with a beautiful deco.

Great service and location, what more can you ask? Rooms are well equipped and furnished. Service from the reception was prompt and they even give suggestions on where to get dinner, which we were delighted with! It's located right next to the train station, so it's great when you travel around different cities without a car. Will definitely recommend to others!

It's not a 'perfect' location for the centre ville, but it certainly is if you are arriving or departing by train! I really liked this hotel. It had everything we wanted (Wi-Fi, parking, air-conditioning, etc) for a stopover at a really good price and everything was made easy by their terrific staff on reception.

I like the atmosphere, the employees speak multi languages, and it shows that they like their job. I sure hope their employers realize how lucky they are. I'm always paying close attention to the employees body language, anywhere I go is how I chose to either buy or stay in or leave at once. Thank you for a great service.

The room is large, clean and new. Just two mins away from the train station and metro station. Don't miss Brasserie Georges, an old but nice restaurant where is 5 min away by walk, if you stay in this hotel.

The hotel is next to the train station and very helpful staff. Kudos to Yasman who was friendly and very helpful.

Decent hotel, but a pain to get to on foot. We had to faff about going up and down escalators just to reach the entrance.

I left my phone charger in my room and they didn't find it! So I warned of this oversight 3 hours later! As if by chance! We haven't found him.
I'm in hotels 5 days a week!
This is the first time this has happened to me!
Conclusion: the room staff is made up of thieves!
On another stay at this hotel I was broken my rear window of my car! Right outside the hotel!
This hotel is deplorable! Aging and incompetent staff! Unable to solve these problems.

Very small room. The shower and heating worked badly. Very noisy at 6 a. M. With station next door. The breakfast was expensive. Positives: the friendliness and professionalism of staff, beautiful rooms on the ground floor.

The hotel is nice and clean, the rooms are very pretty, but the staff is not so nice and sometimes quite rude. There is an entrance on the back, but it is closed and there is no sign of another one, so if you happen to reach the hotel on that side, you could have some troubles getting in. Breakfast is not included, and it is also quite expensive. Conclusion: fine, but not recommended.

Staff makes great effort to make guests stay as pleasant as possible. The conversion is still omnipresent. We still like to come back.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel while he was attending a conference in Lyon in June of 2008. I was very unimpressed with the whole experience. They charge extra for having two people in one room, the bed was horribly uncomfortable, the sink was clogged, and there were flies all over the room upon our arrival. Furthermore, the hotel advertises free ironing service (for up to two items), and the first time I requested the service, I was told that someone would be up to my room shortly. After waiting an hour, I called again and inquired about the service. This time I was met with rude laughter and then I was told that they do not have irons. It's a nice location, but I would not recommend this hotel.

I found the hotel very hard to find when driving into Lyon. Also, the hotel staff didn't seem keen to please. We had to wait behind a coach party whilst only one member of staff checked people in and then when asking for restaurant recommendations we were told "everything is probably closed" (When we ventured out into town on our own, we managed to find many restaurants) Apart from that, the room was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also clean.
