We had to stay put and take a room due to flooding, and dinner and breakfast was also perfect, and this despite a complicated situation as staff blocked by flooding, last minute bookings from road wrecks like us.
5/5 for this place. We'll be back, thanks and bravo to all.

Restaurant located in the castle of the medieval city of the arches-sur-argens which allows the little digestive walk. Superb setting, very friendly and welcoming staff, access to the outdoor pool is also very appreciable after a very hearty meal and at the height of the place. We ate very well, the dishes are made with quality products and we enjoyed the local wines. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Horrible people work here. Asked them simply to buy a few bottles of water for my grand father (85 years old) in 36c and they replied “we don’t sell water here walk to the village 15 minutes away” … disgusting!

The place is worth a visit. We arrive in a very well maintained fortified village with a beautiful view. Walks in the alleys are haunting.
Once parked in the parking lot of the hotel you are very welcome. We take you to a room mixing the old with the recent. On the other hand no curtain, the Windows do not open, and the lamps must be moved to close the shutters. Put.
The time of the meal arrives. The map is tempting the reality much less. The dishes have great ambitions but are any. Unnecessary accompaniments, dry meat, too heavy dessert. Only the service and the frame are at the height of the displayed price.
Ultimately no regrets but it does not come for the quality of the rooms or the food.

Menu at €47 refined hearty for a very reasonable price. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thanks to the whole team.

Very welcoming the staff in the room is small care with kindness and humour. The person at the reception very friendly. The dishes are very good and well presented. The setting is beautiful.

When I go to a restaurant or a hotel I first look at the worst notes and I find that for this place of the watcher we see fake Google profiles with one or two opinions in total and that puts a single star for this gite of Gu The truth is that this place is magical.
There could be some adjustments to be made to get 4 see 5 stars by making a few small adjustments the restaurant is of unrivalled level in the area.
The rooms are very very spacious. There is a parking lot that is not paying and if you stay here you will remember it all your life.
That's the reality!

A superb hotel in a medieval setting in the old village perched on a small hill 10 superb very spacious rooms that resemble suites and that are spread all over the house in the village which is very small the reception the Terrace the pool and restaurant in your crazy charm out of time the kitchen that is served in the restaurant is absolutely excellent without reproach the service is however perhaps a "little excessively dynamic":-) the waitress is a little speed she should Slow the pace a bit because the frame is so restful that seeing it turn like a propeller is not necessarily a rest… That said I prefer this to a band of sleepers who does not know his work.
I would recommend this place without hesitation and I think it is the level of a 4 star without any problem to a few tiny little details.

Great place worth a visit to him alone. This charming little medieval village perched on a rock and in some small building have been renovated into hotel rooms… All this gives false airs of the Golden Goat to Eze (for connoisseurs).
A room for barely €90 a surface of 50 M2 with an illuminated dressing where you can stand, a small terrace on the floor, a small lounge.
We are not in a Palace type building but on the other hand a house filled with history tastefully renovated in a typical local style.
Clean, large flat screen, mini bar, excellent bedding. This borders on the 4 stars.
The restaurant is going to reviews just look at the photos to understand that the level was placed very high but with very reasonable prices.
The reception is very neat… All the staff is in the small care… The master of the place, Max, brings special attention to his guests. Bravo, everyone.

This restaurant is very gastronomic, the dishes are very good and well presented. The terrace is beautiful only problem is that to get off at this terrace there is a staircase that is very steep, one is almost down and it is not suitable for children and handicapped. But otherwise I strongly advise you.

It is a beautiful place but the words free Max ds and excessive issuance of TF1 on the restoration of other candidates make frankly unfriendly: you can't judge a menu at 13.50 with the criteria for a star restaurant (what the lodgings of the watcher is not…) ; Okay, that can make you smile, this addition southern exaggeration and the side temperamental chef… You don't grow to trampling but others by his talents: perhaps lack t — it at the bottom of trust in him, this little guy…

A weekend of exception stayed at the home of the watcher for the 90 years of our Grandma in an enchanting setting. Fine dining without the slightest false note of the brigade of the Max Callegari Chief with a meal that would rival the finest restaurants starry region. Our taste buds are still under the charm of the Provence, service impeccable, discreet room fragrance, but still care what gave us an unforgettable evening, which continued in the Hall of the Tower around a fire wood. The rooms are elegant with great views of the old medieval village. The breakfast in the morning was served to us in the veranda warmed with a panoramic view and to end our stay the lunch remained on the same harmony of the day before. Wow, what a beautiful location. Absolutely gorgeous. It truly deserves a visit. What a shame that the restaurant is operated by the most uninspired French waiters and chefs in the area. With three vegetarians at the table and nothing vegetarian on the menu — — seriously, not one thing — — the best the kitchen could come up with was a green salad as a starter and a plate of what was possibly the worst mashed potatoes ever served in France as a main. As a vegetarian in France, eating out is a gruelling and unpleasant experience, but I have to thank the staff at Le Logis for providing an even lower standard than usual. It was my worst experience yet.
