➜ Pleasant and quiet in the city centre.
Location — Fantastic! Just on the edge of the old town, so you have easy access for driving to the hotel as well as easy access for a stroll through the ancient buildings. Their on-site parking is gated and felt secure. Staff — everyone we interested with was really pleasant and seemed interested in our comfort and happiness during our stay. Their English was great and made it easier to communicate when my bad French failed me! Food — we had dinner and breakfast there. We got in late after a long day of driving, so we weren't keen on going out to eat, nor were we excited about eating dinner at the Ibis. Oh man, were we pleasantly surprised! My wife had the cheeseburger (the best she's had in France! ) and I had the fixed menu which consisted of a salad and roast half-chicken with ratatouille. The salad was made with (what I assume was) fresh market vegetables, as they were all very tasty and very bright! It included a baked flake pastry with chevre! The roast chicken was cooked to perfection with a nice crunchy skin and juicy meat, the ratatouille was fantastic and tasted very traditional. A very surprising dinner experience for sure! We opted for the buffet breakfast which included a very nice spread of breads, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits and great coffee. Definitely one of the better breakfast bargains! The room — Was small but had a comfortable bed and a small desk to be able to work on.

Room really bof bof given the price. Strong cigarette smell. Clogged sink. Inability to obtain an invoice at the reception. I would not iterate again.
