On 25.08.2018 I have booked 3 night over NYE at Les Roches Hotel & Spa. Since September I was trying to get in touch with them to ask about New Years Eve menu as most of the hotels are providing this well in advance.
I was told to call them after 15.11.18 as the hotel was closed until this date.
I phoned them just after that date to ask about the menu. Melanie (owner/manager) sent me the menu on 8.12.18 which was 8 courses for 140 EUR, 3 of which were with meat. I explained that I do not eat meat and if they can provide us with vegetarian/fish options. After numerous emails that this is their only ‘unique menu’, Ive asked for the manager to give me a call, they reply to my request was ‘I am the manager and I can’t make anything for this unique menu. I can propose you differents very good restaurants but I don’t know if they have special menu for vegetarian’.
After lots of empty promises, emails and phone calls on 28.12.18 our arrival date I still didn’t get to see what I will be eating on NYE. The hotel verbally agreed to change the meat options with fish or veg which I thought was great.
On 31.12.18 afternoon we’ve asked If we can see the menu and we were just told that the meat will be changed with fish and one of the starters will be some ‘special eggs’.
So I ended up having:
The first course had ‘cured lard’ which they didn’t bother to take off. The second one (the special eggs) was SCRAMBLED EGGS with truffle oil.

Atmosphere detestable, preferred service and the head of the customer. Managing aggressive behaviour that is completely surreal. Only the view is totally independent of the management of the hotel is to retain

Ideal place for couples, beautiful geographical location heated outdoor pool with a view of the needle of the South, jacuzzi with bubbles and massage nozzles, sauna treatments on reservations. Restoration based on local products. Charm and kindness. Excellent bedding.

We spent a week in August with our family, just perfect!
Ideally placed hotel, which was fully renovated with taste (MAGNIFIC) seen impregnable on The White Mountain, the hotel staff very professional and caring with their guests, and the manager Melanie very very friendly.
I highly recommend for a wee kend or a longer stay.

Very cold welcome by the first person on arrival the manager I think. And the view be saying on the aravis actually given on a fir tree and a cottage and a tiny bit of the end of the aravis so not high and not pretty room above the kitchens and to rate the stairs for rest. It's not that bad

Luckily the people this morning were very nice to the waiter and the welcome lady and beautiful view of the aravis and the white mountain breakfast very well. Pity that our room and all that of the. Side. Aravis we don't really see.

Stay 2 nights period mid May in Deluxe room pretty, clean and friendly, superb Mountain View, nice welcome with local delicacies. Location very quiet and soothing. Missing a minibar, if not perfect.

Very nice hotel facing Mont-Blanc: Warm welcome with hot drink and mignardises, rich breakfast and dinner, very good local products. Room with terrace clean and nice. Full of small touches, breathtaking view with very nice terrace equipped with soft and comfortable warm pleadings. Typical mountain Chalet. Small downside on the noise of the stairs in high season ski.

I do not know what are the reasons behind of this matter but I'm honestly tired of keeping calling you endlessly. This is seriously not a good service I expected to have from you. By the way, thank you for your attention (if any) and sorry for bringing this matter up. … Hope I can get to hear back from you really soon.

Superb hotel, soundproof only light flat.

We had a great stay in the "Rocks". The room deco scandinavian-vintage-chic offers a breathtaking view on the Aravis and the Mont-Blanc. All the staff is smiling and very caring. We will be back!

Staff with small care, welcoming and warm. Cleanliness more than perfect. Large and bright room. Jacuzzi and superb sauna. The bar with its fireplace is very cosy. The Savoyard restaurant is a treat. Breakfast is so plentiful that you don't know what to choose. A great experience for a weekend in love. We are satisfied and a second visit is necessary!

It is difficult to imagine a more magnificent view of the Mont Blanc. We loved it here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We hiked and enjoyed the spa. Perfect for a weekend getaway.

Very good restaurant, very fine especially the tasting menu 13plats a delight a bit hard Room Manager with excellent staff but this remains expensive 90 per person.
