Oldest hotel in the town; squeaky floors attest to this! Bring you earplugs if your room is across the road from The Office Bar.

Clean, comfortable, very nice stuff, large rooms, good bads. Elevator.

One the of nicest hotels I have been to. Large connected rooms. Enough room to have all your ski clothing and stuff. Boot warmers and lockers for skis. Great breakfast and a nice restaurant. The owners operate the place, so it feels more like a nice bed and breakfast than a hotel. Very close to the slops, shops and restaurants. Free parking in public area, in walking distance. I would go back and stay in this hotel.

Very nice rooms, brilliant service. Very friendly staff. It located near a bus stop but quite far from the ski lifts. Otherwise a beautiful location.

Lovely hotel in the heart of Argentiere with upgraded rooms which are comfortable & more than adequate. Good off road parking too.
Staff are always friendly & welcoming, & speak excellent English.
The in house restaurant, Les Cheserys is excellent & good value too.
Wi-Fi can be patchy but the hotelier is aware & about to deal with it.
Lovely local paintings adorn the walls (by my friend, the artist, Lally St Maur) which are for sale as originals or prints.
It’s always a pleasure to return to Hotel La Couronne.

Clean room, good priced, enough breakfast. Nothing to say. In the middle of Argentière. It was a overnight stop during the Haute Route. The village is very charming.

Nice and cozy hotel that breath alpinism. Good central location in Argentiere and nice & serviceminded staff. Very nice breakfast and hotel reastaurant. Perfect afterski pub "The Office" on the oposite side of the road. Fair price. Only negative was that The did not showel their own carpark although the hade a nice showel machine. There was available parking places a couple of 100m away.

It is a nice hotel, not more. Our room was really little, with limited space for baggage. Clean enough and well positioned with respect to the bus stop and direct access to the ski station. However car parking is also quite limited and the operations for unload and load the car are not easy. The restaurant next to the hotel is good, regrettably if you take the half board you don't have the full choice. The personnel is kind and generally helpful. All in all a good choice, though a bit too expensive for the quality of the accommodation.

I've stayed here on several occasions and enjoyed it very much. Hospitable owners, and good service. Nice location in the center of Argentiere. One star less due to lack of Wi-Fi in some of the rooms. Despite this detail, I will stay here again.

La Couronne is an affordable hotel with nice but simple rooms, very good breakfast and a nice restaurant.

I had to book at v short notice and they still had a room available. Nice room, large, very clean, comfortable bed with nice sheets. Lots of light. Free wireless, with easy login, and reception staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't have breakfast as had to leave early and was in a hurry — but I'm sure it would be good. Argentiere is in my opinion the best place to stay in the Chamonix area, as it's walking distance to the Grands Montets lift, best ski area, and in the summer there is a great hiking trail right next to the hotel. There are a few bars and restaurants, so you can have a nice evening out, but then when you want to sleep it's beautifully quiet. If you have a hire car Chamonix is 4 miles away, if not you can take the bus or go for an hour's walk along the river, which is beautiful.

Stayed at the Couronne on many occasions, including hosting a group for a wedding, cannot fault the service and quality, rooms are a high standard and the breakfasts are very good, nothing is too much trouble for the staff always very helpful. Perfect location for the skiing of Argentiere and the Chamonix valley.
