This was the highlight of our trip, this place is amazing. Stay in the dove tower and make sure you stroke the house dog. It's completely individual compared to the try hard hotels but still feels luxury, it just effortlessly fits in with the surroundings. Breakfast is lovely too.
➜ We found this bed and breakfast a little by chance and at the last minute and what was not our surprise to discover a true haven of peace to disconnect and recharge our batteries.
The restored building is a beautiful family home in the image of the warm and friendly family of Adeline and Nicolas.
They made each room a real gem in terms of ambiance and charm with all the little touches: chic and rustic decoration very neat, ultra comfortable bedding, bathroom with nice basket of beauty products and bathrobes available. Tea and coffee available in the room. Wi-Fi is available according to the thickness of the walls: but the digital Detox makes the greatest good and invites us to go out to enjoy the hilly region and vineyards as far as we see!
The breakfast is plentiful and makes good selected products with care (mini pastries, cereals, cold meats, orange juice and grape of small producer…).
Feel free to test the table d'hôte, we had a great time as much for the quality of the dishes, the perfect selection of wines by Nicolas (Sommelier of profession! ) as for the human exchange of a rare authenticity.
The Domaine de Mercade gathers all the criteria of the true French lifestyle. With all its charm and relaxation that we love. We will come back for sure!
