We arrived on time for our table reservation but after half an hour had to tell a waitress that our order had not been taken yet. Several later arrivals had been served before our order was taken. We were not offered the website published menu that has attracted us to eat here. The dining room was not offered to us and we were offered only an outside table and a blackboard bistro menu. We had to move tables to avoid cigarette smoke. The food, when it arrived an hour and a half after we did, was rather mediocre as a whole, though my piece of beef was excellent — nothing else lived up to that plate. There appeared to be something not quite right with this establishment at this time. Certainly unworthy of its Michelin Plate rating. We are unlikely to revisit.

Very nice two star hotel with a first class restaurant. Very helpful staff. The Abbey and grounds are very clause. Set in a very pretty village.

Beautiful! I just want to walk barefoot in the grass and sit by the running streams. The air is clean, sun is hot and bright.

Beautiful. Very nice location Large shaded terrace… and menu of the day with an incredible value for money! A very very correct wine list… In short: That happiness for a gourmet stop.

The service by correct apprentices. Special attention to book a week before. Once Fat degeullase, a top budget would have been better. A salad too salty. Good lamb mouse, but forgot to cook for the vegetables that accompanied it. The rosé of Corsica lengthen to the water completely disadvised. Frozen desserts are not suitable for gastronomy. In conclusion the gastronomy to a sense to improve in my eyes and especially to my purse does not match the quality price. What a pity for a beautiful establishment like its, especially for a meal discovered.

Decoration of the original and pleasant room, fine and delicious meal, friendly servers. Had a great evening.

Dinner Quality Side Bistro, the house entrances remaining nevertheless a little simple. The Calf tab was just wonderful… The homemade strawberry pie was good too although the strawberries are not very tasty at this time of year. The service is simple, polite but without excessive consideration. I liked the setting, a mixture of modern and authentic, ideally placed in front of the church. I'll be back.
We came back on the gastro side this time: unforgettable experience a talented chef, a season card sublime an ever so great setting, to discover…

. You could almost lean out and touch the church bells. Our room was at the very top of this old house; access difficult for anyone not fit and sober! It was rather small, but clean and with a comfortable bed. The small windows gave directly onto the church square and the bell tower. Passing pedestrians, passing cars and chimes made things a little noisy, but bearable if you are used to police sirens throughout the night in a London suburb. If not, probably not! Good value for money, both the room and the breakfast. Dinner was amazing. Absolutely superb. You would never find a rather run-of-the-mill hotel in the UK with food like that. Worth visiting again just for the food. .

fresh, local, menus suppliers purposes, kindness of the staff, relaxing terrace summer is a real treat.

The restaurant is excellent, the breakfast was very good. However it's much too noisy! Room you can hear everything that happens: the restaurant, the phone, the neighbor watching TV… unbearable if you summers sensitive to sound like me.

Must address if you pass your road in the South of deux-Sèvres.
