Very nice boutique hotel in the city centre. The décor is refined and the rooms are spacious. The view of the rooftops gives a romantic aspect. The bathroom is large and the Italian shower huge. Only downside, there is no air conditioning or it is paid in some rooms.

Hotel with a lot of charm in the heart of Saintes. Unless you take the parking space, it is difficult to park nearby.

We were very well received in a warm way, the room was very spacious, well maintained, modern and clean. Good location in the city center without the disadvantages of noise.

We are staying in this hotel overnight before travelling on to the Dordogne. We received a very nice welcome by the reception staff who were very helpful and spoke good English. We booked via the Hotels own website to ensure we had the private parking at the Hotel which they include in the price. The room is very spacious and very clean with it's own wet room shower on suite. The room has it's own mini bar and Tea and coffee making facilities. There is a TV in the room but only has the BBC news channel but that was fine. The Hotel is situated in the centre of the city and close to many restaurants and shops all within walking distance as is the river. Would recommend this Hotel to others.

Travelling over Europe, we had the need of an hotel close to our route. Des Messageries was a happy coincidence: we got the phone and called them. The attention we got was fantastic and we decided to go there. The hotel itself, the service and the parking were perfect. The room was full of charm, as well as the area around the hotel. Will be back for sure, this time to spend a few days there.

Big comfortable rooms, friendly staff, excellent location in the heart of the Old City.

Prime location near the river. Gorgeous historic building, breakfast was wonderful. No elevator, but those are not common in these historic buildings. Within walking distance of basically everything. Definitely would stay here again.

A veteran of 10 years of this business, I have never been disappointed. Priscilla welcomes me warmly. The rooms are very well decorated, very comfortable and spotless. The parking is very convenient.
