Fantastic home and services … and so much details … Magic!

We loved staying here and hope to be back again! It was absolutely beautiful and charming and the owner couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. I highly recommend.

Had the most amazing couple of days here with other family members — took up 4 rooms in total. The setting is beautiful and peaceful, the rooms are delightful — well thought out, luxurious but quirky touches. In fact the whole house is so full of little delightful touches it’s a feast for the eyes. The hosts Daniel and Rene absolutely cannot do enough for you and obviously get great pleasure in sharing their beautiful home. Breakfast is probably the best I’ve experienced anywhere — plentiful, with home made jams and fruit salad with mint from the garden. We were attending a wedding at Chateau de Lisse and on the morning of the wedding Daniel brought us all a glass of champagne to toast the bride and groom. We ate breakfast on the terrace and there is a lovely rustic garden to wander in, sometimes you’ll be lucky enough to be accompanied by Bingo the dog too. If you want peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings, good food and luxury I cannot think of a better place. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our stay here — it's what one dream of in a B&B experience! Lovely hosts who make you feel at home, prep you amazing breakfast and give you great recommendations for things to do and see nearby. We feel like we are visiting family who we actually get along and also who makes amazing food! Location is secluded and you will need a car for the most part (although close enough to Nerac, but we didn't walk), but once you are there, there's a lovely lush garden and right on the water. Place is really nicely decorated, new and very clean, but also maintains some period charm. Oh and we love Bingo the dog, too! We were not familiar with the area, but went for a wedding in the nearby Chateaux de Lisse — while there aren't a ton to do other than a few medical small towns to checkout, we were super glad we stayed a few extra days to relax in this lovely place!

One of a few places in the world I hope I will keep coming back to for the hospitality, athmosphere and that feast called breakfast in this house! Thank you for everything!

It's difficult to sum up all of the wonder that this B and B offers. The rooms are massive, clean, and include every touch you could ever think of (fabulous books about local attractions, etc. ). Elloise was the most accommodating host I have ever experienced at a B and B. She was flexible with our group's schedule — providing a diverse, locally-sourced breakfast early for us so that we could get an early bike ride in, and staying up late to help us out with our late arrival. This is truly everything we dreamed of when we imagined a stay in a quaint French village. I will be back absolutely as soon as possible — and the pricing makes that possibility more imminent! You will not find a better option, whether traveling with friends, or a loved one.
