We spent one night in junior suite a few days ago.
About the room: — the Junior Suite is located in a chalet. It is rather large and includes 2 rooms of identical size but lacks significantly of decoration. Wooden walls don't do everything.
— in one of the rooms was a plate (see photo) with some candies/macaroons/financial/fluted, except that the banana-strawberry candies were hard as not possible, as if the uneaten candies were refourgués to the next customer and thus to The free air for many days… — The mini fridge was not working, I reported it at the front desk but at the base the maid should realize it and the customer after being informed. Fortunately considering the winter temperature we were able to take out the drinks outside the chalet.
— On the site it is indicated that there is an Italian shower except that there is a classic wall shower head while the principle of an Italian shower makes the water comes from the knob hanging over the top.
— The flat screen TV is one of the very first of the name, there is no accessible HDMI port when I planned to connect my tablet to HDMI in the evening. In addition, a good number of channels worked very poorly, it saccadait or a black image was displayed.

About the spa: it is accessed from the outside of the hotel and you have to go down a small covered wooden road to access it.

A beautiful place in the middle of the forest or welcomes you a staff in the little care but in the natural and without exaggeration.

Lost in the middle of the Vosges Forest, the interior of this hotel-restaurant is beautiful. The rooms have a lot of charm and the restaurant dishes are simply succulent. Special congratulations to the chef, full of talents, discreet and very friendly.

Sunny weekend at Sophie's Gardens, a pure happiness. The setting is splendid, the welcome warm … We took advantage of all the facilities, Hamam, sauna, swimming pool… to relax as much as possible. The service is excellent, the staff to our little care. We enjoyed a tasty and very refined meal, not to mention a hearty breakfast. The room was superb, very well soundproofed, cleanliness impeccable. We can't wait to go back.

Good, or even of the very very good! The diversity of the menu is the appointment and the amount is more than sufficient. Friendly and not too intrusive service. We will certainly return.

Very friendly excellent food but access to the spa is great and the pool is cold and the spa benefits are to be reviewed not attractive I will return and recommend the restaurant but not the spa for a 4 * this lack of finesse.

I rented 2 rooms (111 and 214, on 2 different floors so) Saturday 7-Sunday, June 8, 2014. For the price (€ 189 room), I was expecting a quality performance. View the location of the hotel (in the middle of the forest), I was also hoping a perfect calm.
The benefits of this hotel are correct without more given the price level and the place (you can do better for less in Paris). Natural wooden decoration gives a quite successful rustic style but adds some noise and squeaks with every step on the floor of the neighbor of the top. Room 214 is probably located near an air conditioning compressor as a loud hum was heard intermittently. My daughters have had a very bad night, they who usually have a heavy sleeper.
But it's the thickness of the walls which is totally unworthy of a hotel of this range. When the neighbor goes to the bathroom, we perceive until the noise does the paper roll by turning into the drum. And decency prevents me to talk about all the other noises.
In short, it was a sound worthy of a formula 1 to the price of a 4 stars.
To end on a positive note, the restaurant is good, the fine cuisine (not as much as the Buerehiesel for locals who know) and attentive staff. So I recommend the restaurant but not the hotel.

The location is nice. But the benefits are not at all at the height of a 4 *. The pool, the outdoor, lack of air conditioning, the small bathroom, etc. Everything you would expect from a 4 *, a refinement, pleasure of the eyes etc. There is not unfortunately! I am disappointed.
